영문 초록

Since agricultural technologies have an influence on quality enhancement, quantity increase, and cost reduction, agricultural technologies are important factors to increase farm income. When agricultural technologies are distributed, it is necessary to test the complementarities of the technologies but is not to do. So, this paper tests the bundle relationship of production technologies used by oriental melon farmers. We used a bundle relationship test with 8 detail technologies - more than 10m vinyl greenhouse, polyethylene film, polyolefin film, new cultivar, side hole ventilation, winding branch ventilation, sun heat sterilization, and more than 15 ounce lagging cover. With 8 technologies, there are 256 possible technology bundles but only 52 are actually used by oriental melon farmers. Through relationship tests of 52 technology bundles, we found 8 complementary bundles and 10 substitute bundles. The results of this paper could contribute to technology diffusion policies and subsequent studies, also improving farmers’ welfare.
