영문 초록

The objective of this paper is to present various problems and issues related to the teaching of kugak in elementary school and to contribute to the establishment of new directions and policies in kugak education. Therefore, I have tried to assess the current status of kugak education in elementary school and look for ways to improve the quality of education. The greatest problem in kugak education lies with the low quality of teachers who have had few opportunities for training. In order to improve the quality of kugak education, kugak must be included in the curriculum at training insticutions for elementary school teachers. Political support and funding should be provided to include kugak in the teacher s certification exam, make lmgak practice mandatory, and increase the number of training courses for teachers. In addition, the amount of kugak should be increased in music textbooks for elementary school and a variety of teaching material should be provided for teachers with no background in kugak.
