영문 초록

The kuŭm(口音) mouth notes syllables is a system of solmization which originated in imitation of each instrument’s sound. In Korean stringed - instruments, kuŭm has been broadly used for kŏmun go (6-stringed zither), kayagŭm (12-stringed zither), and yanggŭm(dulcimer). The syllable notation was called yukbo(肉譜) which applied kuŭm to xcription . Six volumes of old manuscripts of kayagŭm yukbo has remained up to now. Today, we have three types of kayagŭm kuŭm. They are KTPAC(Korean Traditional Performing Atrs Center) -style, minganpungryu - style, and sanjo - style. The KTPAC-style was devised in the first halfof the twentieth century and it was made in imitation of kŏmum go kuŭm. But the other systems are succession to kuŭm of old manuscripts. Thus, ‘the traditional kayagŭm kuŭm ’should be minganpungryu-style and sanjostyle. They are as follaw: (*) case of fingering system on 4th fret. In addition to my conclusion, I verify that the two old manuscripts and , which were known as old manuscripts of komungo, are truly old manuscripts of kayagŭm.
