백내장을 가진 한국인에서의 안구계측치와 신체계측치의 상관관계에 대한 연구

국문 초록

목적: 백내장을 가진 한국성인에서 안구계측치의 분포와 신체계측치와의 상관관계에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 백내장 수술을 시행한 150안(150명)을 대상으로 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 신체계측치는 신장과 몸무게 그리고 체질량지수를 이용하였으며 안구계측치는 술 전에 비접촉식 저간섭성반사계로 측정한 안축장, 전방깊이, 각막곡률, 수정체두께, 중심각막두께를 이용하여 안구계측치와 신체계측치의 상관관계를 선형회귀분석하였다. 결과: 평균 나이는 67.44 ± 10.83세였다. 평균 신장, 체중, 체질량지수는 각각 157.24 ± 9.16 cm, 60.50 ± 10.18 kg, 24.47 ± 3.59kg/㎡였으며 평균 안축장, 전방깊이, 평균각막곡률, 수정체두께, 중심각막두께가 각각 23.51 ± 0.80 mm, 3.23 ± 0.42 mm, 44.49 ± 1.33 diopter, 4.44 ± 0.42 mm, 534.64 ± 31.90 μm로 측정되었다. 신장은 안축장, 전방깊이와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 평균각막곡률과 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었고 중심각막두께, 수정체두께와는 연관성을 보이지 않았다. 체중은 안축장과는 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었으며 체질량지수는 모든 안구계측치와 상관성을 보이지 않았다. 나이가 증가할수록 신장, 체중, 전방깊이는 유의한 감소를 보였으며 평균각막곡률, 수정체두께는 유의한 증가를 보였으나 안축장, 중심각막두께와는 연관성을 보이지 않았다. 결론: 신장이 클수록 안축장이 길어지며 전방깊이는 깊어지고 평균각막곡률은 편평해지는 경향이 있다. 연령이 증가할수록 전방깊이는 얕아지고 평균각막곡률은 가팔라지며 수정체는 두꺼워지는 경향을 가진다.

영문 초록

Purpose: To evaluate the relation between ocular biometry and anthropometric parameters in Korean adults with cataracts. Methods: The preoperative medical data of 150 eyes (150 patients) who underwent cataract surgery from November 2015 to March 2016. Anthropometric parameters include height, weight and body mass index (BMI). Ocular biometry includes axial length, anterior chamber depth, corneal curvature, lens thickness and central corneal thickness. The relation between ocular biometry and anthropometric parameters was evaluated using linear regression analysis. Results: The mean age was 67.44 ± 10.83 years. The mean height, weight and BMI were 157.24 ± 9.16 cm, 60.50 ± 10.18 kg and 24.47 ± 3.59 kg/㎡. The mean axial length, anterior chamber depth, corneal curvature, lens thickness and central corneal thickness were 23.51 ± 0.80 mm, 3.23 ± 0.42 mm, 44.49 ± 1.33 diopter, 4.44 ± 0.42 mm and 534.64 ± 31.90 μm. The height showed a significant positive relationship with axial length and anterior chamber depth and a significant negative relationship with average corneal curvature. However, there was no significant relationship with the central corneal thickness or lens thickness. The weight showed significant positive relationship with axial length. BMI was not related to any anthropometric parameters. Age showed a significant positive relationship with average corneal curvature and lens thickness and a negative relationship with height and anterior chamber depth. Conclusions: As height increases, the axial length and the anterior chamber depth increase and the corneal curvature become flatter. As age increases, the anterior chamber depth becomes shallower, the corneal curvature becomes steeper and the lens thickness increases.
