국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 폭력피해 여성들의 심리적 후유증이 어떠한지, 치유를 위해 필요한 요소들이 무엇인지를 제시하는 것이다. 여성들이 경험하는 폭력은 신체적 폭력과 아울러 심리적 폭력이다. 이러한 폭력은 피해 여성들에게 심각한 신체적, 심리적 후유증을 남기며, 심리적 후유증은 외상 후 스트레스장애(PTSD)의 증상들과 유사하다. 즉, 사건의 반복경험, 과민감화, 우울, 불안, 분노 등의 정서적 어려움, 인지왜곡 등을 경험하며 이로 인해 대인관계 갈등, 사회활동의 제약 등을 겪는다. 치유를 위해서는 폭력경험을 드러내고, 상담을 통해 분노, 무력감, 슬픔, 수치심 등의 부정적인 정서를 회피하지 않고 직면하며, 자신의 경험에 대한 재해석을 하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present how experience psychological problems after women suffered violence, and what the elements necessary for moving on to healing. Violence that women experience is physical violence, such as sexual assault, domestic violence and dating violence, and psychological violence, such as verbal abuse and threats. Women experience a serious injury to both physical and psychological violence. Psychological sequelae of women who have suffered violence seen is similar to post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms. And the women suffered violence experience the following symptoms: Repetition of the situation where the violence occurred, and sensitization, emotional difficulties, cognitive distortion. This difficulty leads to constraints of interpersonal conflict and social activities. The following procedure is required for healing. Among other things, to expose the violence experience is important. And through counseling negative emotions—anger, shame, anxiety, etc.—facing. It is also necessary to reinterpret the disaster experience.
