직장동료와의 상호작용에 기반한 일기쓰기활동이 자폐성장애 근로자의 화장실 위생 관리기술에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 직장동료와의 상호작용에 기반한 일기쓰기활동이 자폐성장애 근로자의 화장실 위생 관리기술에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해, 특수학교 전공과 졸업 이후 5개월째 김치포장 공장에서 파트타임으로 근무를 하고 있는 자폐성장애 근로자 세 명을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 실험 환경은 연구 대상들이 근무하고 있는 사업체 내의 화장실과 휴게실로 구성되었으며, 실험 설계는 단일대상연구의 기법 중 하나인 대상자간 중다간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 이에 따른 실험 조건은 기초선, 중재, 유지와 같이 세 가지로 이루어졌다. 중재프로그램은 연구 대상이 직장동료와의 직ㆍ간접적인 상호작용을 통해 일기쓰기활동을 전개하는 절차로 실시되었다. 그리고 이러한 직ㆍ간접적인 상호작용의 소재는 연구 대상이 목표행동인 화장실 위생 관리기술을 정반응과 오반응으로 각각 수행하였을 때 직장동료가 갖는 감정 상태와 상황에 기초하였다. 종속변인으로 적용된 화장실 위생 관리기술은 연구 대상이 근무하는 사업체에서 모든 직원들이 번갈아가면서 수행해야 할 직무규칙으로써, 총 10가지의 행동 목록으로 구성되었다. 연구 결과의 산출과 관련하여 자료 측정, 관찰자간 신뢰도, 중재 충실도, 사회적 타당도의 절차가 수반되었다. 연구 결과, 연구 대상들은 중재프로그램을 통하여 목표행동을 효과적으로 습득한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 연구 대상들은 중재프로그램의 적용이 종료된 지 3주가 지난 시점에서 역시 목표행동의 수행을 완전한 정반응 수준으로 유지하고 있었다. 끝으로, 본 연구는 독립변인과 종속변인이 갖는 기능적 의의를 중심으로 논의 및 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This research was conducted to identify the effects of diary writing activity based on interactions with co-workers on the bathroom hygiene management skills of workers with autism spectrum disorder. To do so, the study selected three workers with autism spectrum disorder who had worked part-time in a kimchi packaging factory for 5 months after graduating from the majoring course of special-education schools as study subjects. The experiment environment was composed of the bathroom and lounge in the workplaces they worked and the experiment design multiple probe design across subjects, one of the techniques of single subject research. The experiment conditions accordingly were baseline, intervention, and maintenance. The intervention program carried out the diary writing activity through the indirect and direct interactions of research subjects with co-workers. Also, the subject matter of such direct and indirect interactions were based on the emotional status and situations of co-workers, when the study subjects performed the bathroom hygiene management skills they targeted in a positive and wrong response each. The bathroom hygiene management skills that were applied as dependent variables consisted of a total of 10 behaviors, which were work-related rules that all employees had to fulfill in the workplaces that the study subjects worked. Next, the procedures of data measurement, interobserver reliability, intervention integrity, and social validity for the calculation of research results. The study results demonstrated that the study subjects effectively acquired the targeted behavior through the intervention program, and maintained the performance of targeted behavior at a completely positive response level 3 weeks after the implementation of intervention program ended. Finally, this research made a discussion and proposal by focusing on the functional values of independent and dependent variables.
