영문 초록

This article aimes at introducing the French politial corruption to Korean experts on political corruption, focucing on the activities of Magistrate Eva Joly and trying to compare these to Korean ones. It ranges from the simple biography of her, the French investigation and judiciary system, the French police's investigations on political corruption, French corruption network, a variety of corruptions after defeat of Germany, the lessons from the trial of Elf, the pressures on Eva to resign, international level of French political corruption and structural causes of French corruption, to Paris Declaration in 2003. In addition, it tries to explore the implications of the activity of Eva in comparing it with the Korean case.
