항공범죄에 대한 두려움 차이에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 범죄행위로부터 항공산업을 보호하려는 모든 활동을 의미하는 항공보안의 주요 보호대상인 승객의 항공범죄 두려움을 조사하였다. 항공범죄는 일반 항공범죄와 테러형 항공범죄로 분류하였다. 일반 항공범죄에는 공항 및 항공기 내 등 항공관련 시설에서 발생하는 절도, 강도, 폭행 등이며, 테러형 항공범죄에는 항공 테러를 목적으로 항공기 납치 및 폭파, 공항 등 항공시설테러, 항공승객 테러, 사이버 테러 등이다. 조사한 일반 항공범죄와 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움 차이를 분석하여 항공보안을 강화하는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 분석결과에 의하면 우리나라와 외국의 항공기와 공항에서 승객들은 일반 항공범죄보다 테러형 항공범죄를 두려워하고 있다. 특히, 우리나라보다 외국의 항공기나 공항에서 테러형 항공범죄를 두려워하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 공항보다는 항공기에서 일반과 테러형 항공범죄에 대해 두려워하고 있다. 성별에 따른 일반 항공범죄와 테러형 항공범죄의 두려움 차이 분석결과에 의하면, 여성이 남성보다 항공기와 공항에서 일반 항공범죄와 테러형 항공범죄를 더욱 두려워한다. 우리나라와 외국, 항공기와 공항에 상관없이 여성들의 일반 항공범죄와 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움이 모두 높다. 연령에 따른 일반과 테러형 항공범죄 두려움의 차이 분석결과에 의하면, 연령이 높을수록 일반과 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움이 높다. 우리나라 항공기와 공항에서 연령이 증가할수록 일반과 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움이 모두 높다. 소득에 따른 일반과 테러형 항공범죄 두려움의 차이 분석결과에 의하면, 항공과 공항에서 소득에 따른 일반과 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움은 차이가 없다. 소득 증가와 일반과 테러형 항공범죄에 대한 두려움은 상관관계가 없다. 다만 우리나라 공항에서는 소득이 높을수록 일반 항공범죄 두려움은 증가한다.

영문 초록

This research investigated fears about aviation crime that passengers feel, who are primary targets of aviation security which means every activity protecting aviation industry from aviation crime. In this research, aviation crime is divided into general aviation crime and terroristic aviation crime. General aviation crime includes theft, robbery, assault breaking out in facilities associated with aviation such as an airport or the interior of an aircraft. Terroristic aviation crime includes the hijacking and explosion of an aircraft aimed at pure terror, the terror towards facilities associated with aviation like an airport, the terror towards passengers, and the cyber terror. The purpose of this study is to reinforce aviation security by analyzing difference of fears about general aviation crime and terroristic aviation crime investigated. According to the result of the analyzing, passengers are more afraid of terroristic aviation crime than general aviation crime generally in the world including Korea. Particularly, the people are more afraid of terroristic aviation crime occuring in foreign aircraft or foreign airport than the incident in Korea. In Korea, the people are more afraid of general and terroristic aviation crime breaking out in aircraft than the crime occuring in airport. According to the result of analyzing difference of fears about general and terroristic aviation crime depending on gender, females are more afraid of general and terroristic aviation crime in airport and aircraft than males are. Regardless of the difference of foreign country and Korea, and the difference of an airport and an aircraft, females have high levels of fear in general. According to the result of analyzing difference of fears about general and terroristic aviation crime depending on age, the more the people aged, the more fears they have. In Korea, the dread of general and terroristic aviation crime increases with age. According to the result of analyzing difference of fears about general and terroristic aviation crime depending on income level, there is no difference of fears about general and terroristic aviation crime by income level. There is no correlation between income level and fears about general and terroristic aviation crime. As an exceptive case, in Korea the dread of general aviation crime increases with income level.
