유아도형창의성검사의 구인타당도에 관한 확인적요인분석

국문 초록

유아도형창의성검사(전경원, 2001)는 유아를 대상으로 한 한국의 창의성연구에서 빈번히 사용되는 창의성 검사 중 하나이다. 유아도형창의성검사는 창의성의 다양한 측면 중 유창성, 독창성, 개방성, 민감성의 4개 요인을 측정한다고 알려져 왔으나, 이 검사의 구인타당도에 관한정보는 충분하지 않다. 본 연구의 목적은 확인적요인분석의 방법을 사용해 유아도형창의성검 사의 구인타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 분석 자료로는 한국아동패널조사의 5차년도 조사에서 총 1,690명의 유아를 대상으로 수집한 유아도형창의성검사의 점수를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 3개의 요인모형을 검증하였는데, 이들 모형은 1) 검사요강의 내용을 토대로 설정한 4요인(A)모형, 2) 4요인(A) 모형에 일부 개별 문항 점수의 오차 분산 간 공분산 관계를 설정한 4요인 (B) 모형, 3) 4요인(B) 모형의 유창성과 독창성 요인을 확산적사고 요인으로 통합한 3요인 모형이다. 확인적요인분석 결과 4요인(A) 모형은 논리적인 해석이 어려운 결과가 도출되었다. 한편 4요인(B) 모형과 3요인 모형은 모형적합도가 매우 우수하였으나, 판별타당도 및 검사점수해석의 측면에서 3요인 모형이 더 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 논문은 유아도형창 의성검사의 구인타당도와 검사의 해석 및 채점에 관한 논의와 제언을 제시하였다

영문 초록

K-FCTYC (Korean Figural Creativity Test for Young Children), developed by Jeon (2001), is one of the most frequently used creativity tests in Korean creativity research with young children. K-FCTYC is reported to measure the four factors of fluency, originality, openness and sensitivity, but the evidence on the construct validity of K-FCTYC is scarce. The purpose of the current study is to identify the construct validity of K-FCTYC through a confirmatory factor analysis. The data used for the analysis are the scores of K-FCTYC collected from 1,690 young children who participated in the 5th year's Panel Study on Korean Children. The three different factor models of K-FCTYC was tested, including 1) 4-Factor(A) model, which is based on the facture structure as K-FCTYC's manual suggests, 2) 4-Factor(B) model, in which a series of covariance among error terms are specified to 4-Factor(A) model, and 3) 3 Factor model, in which the fluency and originality factors are combined as divergent thinking factor. The results indicate 4-Factor(A) model is not logically interpretable. On the other hand, both 4-Factor(B) and 3-Factor models show excellent, global model fits, but 3-Factor model is more valid in terms of discriminant validity. Finally, the present article provides discussions and recommendations on the construct validity of K-FCTYC, and its interpretation and scoring methods.
