영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to consider Jannah in Islam focused on its description and qualification of its people through the Quran and Hadith.The point I want to make is that Jannah is very similar to paradise in the Christianity. Also the sings of the last day(Yawm Al-Dīn), in the terms of the Qur’an and Hadith, focused on occurrence of the natural disasters which the mankind has not experienced throughout history. As for the description of Jannah, it is described as the most beautiful place which cannot be compared in this materialistic age. But it seems strange for the researcher that some of Jannah compositions were built from the material substances of this world and the people of Jannah eat some fruits that has exited in this world. So this requires some further explanation by Islamic theologians in the future. To be a people of Jannah, it is very important for muslim to perform two parts; the faith and practice. Above all, the number of prostration before Allah as Salat is a barometer for the people who need to be saved because they frequently repent of their sins. In the future, it should be added the explanation of Jannah’s life in more detail.
