영문 초록

This paper studies; how the Greek people broke through the two-party system, and why they failed to end austerity and what the main factors causing their success and failure of lefts are. For these purposes, this paper analyzes the Greek people’s struggles since 2010 and the outcomes of elections. And this paper shows; the Greek people’s struggle and bourgeois electionshave influencedeach other; The rupture of the two-party system was made possible by the growth of class consciousness through class struggles; Most supporters of Syrizasince May 2012 election havemainlycome not from pro-austerity bloc but from anti-austerity one; Main causes of Syriza government’s failure are unilateral repayment to Troika and its blind belief of staying in the Euro. This paper also illustrates; The key task of Greek lefts has been to build an anti-austerity united front; However KKE and Antarsiafailed to understand this key task; The biggest beneficiary of the five years’ class struggle is Syriza, a typical model of new broad left party which could fill the space left by social democrats; The biggest winner is the transformative lefts acting in the Left Platform who were able to use their position to influence other party members and masses.
