모자보호시설 한부모가정의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 모자가정의 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴봄으로써 그들의 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 합의를 도출함을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상자의 주요 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 영향 요인을 탐색한 결과 삶의 질이 생활 전반에서 주관적으로 느끼는 척도의 평균값이 2.97점으로 보통 보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났으며, 이에 따른 하위영역인 가족생활은 평균 2.89점으로 보통 수준이하로 이는 모자가구주의 삶의 질이 부정적임을 반증하고 있다. 한편 정서적 관계는 3.07점, 사회적지지 2.95점으로 보통수준 이하로 파악되었다. '남녀고용평등법'에도 불구하고 모자가정 여성뿐만 아니라 노동시장에서의 성차별에 의한 취업 기회 제한은 모든 여성들의 경제활동을 위축시키고 있다. 저소득 모자가정 가구주의 삶의 질의 하위영역인 심리적 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 가족생활, 경제생활, 정서적 관계, 사회적 지지, 여기활동 변인들이 심리적 스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가의 연구결과에서, 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 대체로 저소득 모자가정은 사회경제적 지위가 낮으며 또한 경제적으로 넉넉하지 못한 경제적 스트레스에 노출되어 있는데 이러한 상황은 결코 단순한 문제로 끝나는 것이 아니라 모자가구주의 심리적 안정감에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있는데, 즉 심리적, 정서적 부적응과 의욕상실 등의 심리적 디스트레스에 직면하게 된다는 것다.

영문 초록

This research examines what influences there were on the quality of life of fatherless families and aims to come to an agreement on how to improve that quality. The results of investigating the influential factor of the research subject, according to their main socio-demographic characteristics, is that the average value of the index of the quality of life the subjects felt in their lives overall was 2.97, a number that is lower than normal. The category below that is family life and, with a below average score of 2.89, it shows that the quality of life for the head of household of a fatherless family is negative. Meanwhile, they scored 3.07 for emotional relationships and 2.95 for social support, both of which are below normal. Notwithstanding the "Equal Employment Opportunity Law", limitations on employment opportunities for women as a result of sexually discriminatory attitudes and policies constrict the economic activities of not just single mothers, but all women. The category below the quality of life for low-income fatherless-family heads of household is psychological stress, namely, to analyze how factors such as family life, economic life, emotional relationships, social support, and leisure life influence psychological stress. Results show that there is a meaningful influence. Generally, the socioeconomic status of low-income fatherless-families is low, and such families are exposed to more stress due to those economic difficulties. There are no simple answers to this problem and it has a negative effect on the psychological stability of the heads of such households, in the sense that they are subject to various types of psychological distress such as psychological and emotional maladjustment or broken spirits.
