국문 초록

중고령여성들은 노년기 삶의 질 유지를 위해 취업을 희망한다. 구직을 희망하는 중고령여성들은 많지만 실제로 이들은 구직 과정에서 연령과 성차별을 받으며 미숙련과 전문성의 부족으로 재취업이 어려워 노년기 삶의 질 유지를 위한 준비를 하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 취업 중이거나 구직 희망자, 구직을 위해 평생교육 강의를 수강하고 있는 중고령여성의 요구를 분석하여, 노년기 삶의 질 유지를 위한 노인교육 복지 모델을 제시하는데 있다. 연구방법은 첫째, 중고령여성의 취업 문제를 문헌 분석 하고, 둘째, 50-64세 여성 10명을 내러티브 면담하여 요구 분석하였다. 연구결과, 이들 은 구직과정에서 경제적 배제, 사회 참여 기회에서 배제, 평생교육에서 배제되는 것으 로 나타났다. 고령사회 진입을 앞두고 중고령여성들이 노년기의 삶을 준비해 가도록 배제의 패러다임을 참여의 패러다임으로 바꾸는 노인교육복지 모델이 작동되어야 한 다. 노인교육복지 모델은 첫째, 노년기 경제적 안정을 위해 성 및 연령차별이 일어나지 않게 고용시장 감독 강화 및 최저 임금 보장, 공적 소득 보장을 확대해 나가야 한다. 둘째, 재취업 훈련을 통해 고용 기회를 확대 및 가정 내 양성평등 실천, 셋째, 사회자 조그룹 활성화를 위한 노인교육을 창출해 나가야 한다. 지속발전 가능 사회를 만들기 위한 참여의 패러다임은 구직을 원하는 여성들이 스스로 사회 자조그룹을 만들어 가며, 앙가지망을 갖은 시민이 자발적으로 지식 가게 등을 조직, 운영해 갈 때 성공될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Generally, women have a higher life expectance and longer senescence than men. Many middle-aged women have an exclusive position during their life. Forced, to compete with men’s worker on the job market without any chance of working and being discriminated because of their age and sex.They are financially weak and completely excluded from social participation and lifelong learning. Despite times of lifelong learning, offering the possibility in developing their competences to prepare for maintenance of quality of life is difficult. This research purposes to analyze their needs in respect of social participation through narrative interviews of 10 middle-aged women in the age of 50 till 64 years. This research also aims to propose a elderly learning and welfare model that considers the analyzed needs. The result shows that exclusion from the society is the consequence of financial weakness, a missing possibility to participate in society and lifelong learning programs. If a society wish sustainable development, we should change the paradigm of exclusion into a paradigm of participation.The Concept of elderly learning and welfare model is as follows. Firstly, their financial status has to be ensured. Secondly, expanding employment opportunities through training and practicing of gender equality. Thirdly, training for enabling to create self-help groups have to be offered. Considering the rapid demographic change, the integration of ageing population, especially of ageing women, is mandatory for a society that is capable of sustainable development.
