DINA 모형 기반의 초등학교 수학 진단평가 개발과 활용

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 DINA 모형을 기반으로 한 초등학교 수학 진단평가 검사지를 학교단위에서 개발하고 초등학교 현장에서 실제적인 활용이 가능한지를 확인하는 것이었다. 검사도구를 개발하기 위하여 내용 전문가 집단을 구성한 후 교육과정을 분석하고 그에 맞춰 Q-행렬 초안과 동시에 검사 문항을 직접 개발하였다. 다른 집단의 학생에게 시범검사를 실시한 결과를 바탕으로 Q-행렬 정교화 작업을 거쳐 사전 및 사후 진단평가 검사지를 최종적으로 개발하였다. 다음으로 G시 49개 초등학교 중 5개 학교를 무선표집하고 다시 6학년 2개 반을 무선표집한 후 실험집단과 비교집단으로 구분하여 사전 진단평가와 사후 진단평가를 실시하였다. 그리고 검사도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도, 학업성취 향상 결과, 지도교사의 인식 설문 조사를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 교육과정 및 학습목표를 기반으로 타당도와 신뢰도를 어느 정도 갖춘 진단평가 검사지를 개발할 수 있고 학교 현장에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있음이 확인되었다. 또한 실험집단 학생의 수학 성적이 향상되는 결과를 확인할 수 있었고 교사 역시 DINA 모형 적용 가능성에 대해 긍정적이었다. 끝으로 본 연구결과의 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop diagnostic tests of elementary school mathematics based on the DINA (deterministic-input, noisy "and" gate) model and to examine whether such tests can provide practical benefits to elementary school education. For this purpose, a group of content experts analyzed the curriculum and drafted a Q-matrix. The Q-matrix was refined through pilot testing and was used to develop pre- and post-tests of diagnostic assessment. Five elementary schools were randomly selected among the forty-nine schools in G city, and two classes of grade 6 in each selected school were randomly assigned as an experimental group and a control group. The two classes in each of the five schools took both pre- and post-tests. Validity and reliability of the tests, improvement of the student’s academic achievement, and teacher survey results were then analyzed. As a result, it was verified that valid and reliable diagnostic tests based on the school curriculum and learning objectives could be developed and that the tests could be useful in elementary school education. In addition, we could confirm that the students in the experimental group raised their math scores and that the surveyed teachers were positive about the effectiveness of the DINA model. Finally, the implications of this study and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
