인성동화를 활용한 이야기나누기 활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 배려, 존중, 협력, 나눔, 질서, 효 의 내용이 포함된 인성동화를 활용한 이야기나누기 프로그램을 유아교육 현장에서 적용시켜 유아의 친사회적 행동의 하위요인인 ‘개인정서 조절능력’ ‘대인관계 형성능력’ ‘어린이집 적응능력’에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 현재 어린이집에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 40명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 실험집단(20)은 인성동화를 활용한 이야기나누기 활동을 진행하였고, 통제집단(20)은 만 5세 누리과정에서 실시하고 있는 일반 생활동화 프로그램을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인성동화를 활용한 이야기나누기 활동이 친사회적 행동 하위요소인 개인정서 조절능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음이 밝혀졌으며, 둘째, 친사회적 행동 하위요소인 대인관계 형성능력에는 긍정적 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 셋째, 친사회적 행동 하위요소인 어린이집 적응 능력에는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음이 검증되었다. 즉, 유아들이 동화 속 갈등상황에 직면했을 때 그에 대한 이야기를 서로 나누면서 합의점을 모색하고 정보를 상호 교환해 나가는 활동들이 친사회적 행동능력을 향상시키는데 매우 중요하게 작용 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to prove the effectiveness of story sharing activity based on children's character stories on young children's pro-social behavior. Therefore, research problems such as below were set up and proven. Research problem 1. How does the story sharing activity based on children's character stories affect 'personal emotional control ability'? Research problem 2. How does the story sharing activity based on children's character stories affect 'interpersonal relation forming ability'? Research problem 3. How does the story sharing activity based on children's character stories affect 'daycare center adjusting ability'? The summary of the study results is following : First, it is confirmed that story sharing activity based on children's character stories has a positive effect on personal emotional control ability which is the sub factor of pro-social behavior. Through story sharing, children could improve their problem solving ability and this lead to a stronger self esteem and more responsibility which ultimately make them close to others. Second, story sharing activity based on children's character stories doesn't have any positive effect on interpersonal relation forming ability which is another sub factor of pro-social behavior. That is, there is not meaningful difference in interpersonal relation forming ability after this experiment. Third, it is proven that story sharing activity based on children's character stories affects positively on daycare center adjusting ability which is also the sub factor of pro-social behavior. In other words, children could adjust well in the daycare center life by controlling their personal emotions and interpersonal relations thanks to the experience of the conflict situation in character stories.
