국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 창의적 성격과 학습역량 간의 관계를 확인함으로써, 대학생의 역량강화교육을 위한 교육과정 및 프로그램 개발에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 ‘대학생의 개인배경(성별, 학년별)에 따라 창의적 성격과 학습역량에는 차이가 있을 것인가?’ ‘창의적 성격 및 학습역량 간에는 어떤 상관관계가 있을 것인가?’를 연구문제로 설정하여 이를 확인하였다. 연구결과, 대학생의 창의적 성격의 하위요인에서 남학생이 여학생보다 평균점수가 높았으며, 학습역량의 하위요인에서는 인지능력과 학습행동에서 남학생이 여학생보다 평균점수가 더 높았다. 학년별 창의적 성격과 학습역량의 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하였는데, 4학년이 가장 높았으며, 하위요인별 분석에 있어서는 호기심. 민감성, 문제해결력만 학년별로 유의미하게 차이가 확인되었다. 또한 창의적 성격의 하위 변인 간 유의미한 정적상관 관계를 보였으며, 학습역량에 있어서는 인지능력과 학습행동, 학습동기와 학습행동 간에 상관관계가 유의히한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 2013년 국제성인역량조사(PIAAC) 결과에서 성인 초기인 대학생 시기를 기점으로 학습역량이 감소하기 시작하는 현상이 우리나라가 OECD국가 중 연령 간 역량편차가 가장 심한 것으로 보고되었으며, 노동시장미스매칭으로 창의성이 구현되기 어려운 스펙 쌓기 열풍에 휩싸여있는 현실이지만, 역으로 창의적 성격이 발휘되어 학습역량이 가장 뛰어난 대학생시기에 보다 더 세분화된 창의-학습역량프로그램을 제공받는다면 성인기의 창의적 학습역량이 유지 및 개발되어질 수 있으리라고 본다.

영문 초록

This research looks at the relationship between creative personality and learning competency to discover the insights into the development of curriculum and education program for university students. This paper focuses on two main topics; ‘the difference of learning competency and creative personality based on the students’ background(gender, grade)’ and ‘relation between learning competency and creative personality’. As a result, the study found that male students’ average score is higher than female students’ in creativity and male students’ average score is higher than female students’ in learning ability. The differences based on grade level showed meaningful difference between learning ability and creativity. Senior students’ deviation was the highest in every section. And it was found that curiosity, sensitivity, problem solving ability are the only meaningful result in lower factor research. Also positive correlation was found in lower factors of creative personality and in learning competency section, correlations between cognitive ability and learned behavior, between learning motive and learned behavior were meaningful. According to PIAAC(Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) report, the deviation of Korean learning competency based on age is the highest in the OECD record. It is hard to implement the education program which helps to strengthen the creativity in Korea because job market wants only the highly qualified individuals with quantifi-able requirements and achievements. However, if university students can receive education which would nurture the creativity during the time when the learning abilities are at the peak, the creative learning competency will likely be maintained as well as developed even at an adult age.
