국문 초록

본 연구는 1960년대 이후 괄목할만한 경제성장을 이룩하며 우수한 의료기술도입으로 양적·질적성장을 이어오고 있는 대한민국의 방사선학과와 1300만 달러 규모의 전 세계 의료관광시장을 선도하고 있는 태국 방사선학과의 교육과정을 비교해보고, 아시아 개발도상국의 방사선보건의료인력 양성교육을 이끌어나갈 수 있는 ‘수출형 방사선학과 교육과정 모델’을 개발·제시하고자 한다. 비교매체는 한국의 동서대학교 방사선학과와 태국 나레수안대학교의 Department of Radiological Technology 두 학교의 교과과정을 직접 비교하였으며, 아시아지역에 범용할 수 있는 교육과정에 어떤 항목 이 필수적인지, 선택적인지, 불필요한 것인지 결정하여 우수한 방사선사를 양성할 수 있는 최적의 모델을 찾는다.

영문 초록

This study aspires to develop and present a 'Korean Curriculum Model' in Radiological Science(or Technology), which will be applied to developing countries located in Asia. Because Republic of Korea has grown one of a well developed country in Health Science and Thailand has also been occupying a good position in world's medical tourism market which is on thirteen-million dollars of scale. The ideal curriculum model made by comparing and contrasting those two countries' university. Department of Radiological Science in Dongseo University and Department of Radiological Technology in Naresuan University are the sample of this research and the major source of a wide use education system in Asia to train well-educated Radiological Technician.
