한국어판 영유아 언어 및 의사소통 선별검사(Korean Snapshot: K-SNAP)의 타당도 및 신뢰도

국문 초록

배경 및 목적: 영유아 시기 언어발달 고위험군의 조기 선별과 지원이 필요하다. 언어발달 추적을 위해 한국의 언어 및 문화를 고려하여 개발한 Korean SNAP의 타당도와 신뢰도를 살펴보고자 한다. 방법: 52문항의 회고형 설문 LENA Developmental Snapshot을 한국어 발달에 맞게 번안하고 수정한 후 타당도와 신뢰도를 살펴보았다. 1,515명의 자료를 토대로 발달적 타당성과 다른 언어 선별검사와의 상관을 보았다. 일부 아동에게 발달검사 및 발화자료를 수집한 후 상관을 살폈다. 신뢰도는 문항의 내적일치도와 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 통해 살펴보았다. 결과: 11개 월령집단 중 9개 집단이 통계적으로 유의미하게 발달적 차이가 나는 것으로 나타났다. K M-B CDI와 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타나 언어선별도구로써의 타당성이 있었다. Korean Bayley II의 인지 및 동작 검사결과와 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 아동의 발화 분석 결과와도 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 문항의 내적일치도는 Cronbach 알파가 .972로 매우 높은 편이다. 119명에 대한 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 .942로 높게 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 한국어판 K-SNAP은 어휘중심의 K M-B CDI를 보완하고, 8문항으로 영유아 검진에서 사용하는 K-DST 언어 영역과 연계하여 발달을 추적 관찰하는 데 사용할 수 있을 것이다. 이 검사도구의 민감도와 특이도에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives: It is important to identify young children with language delay or children who are at risk of language delay. This study explores the validity and reliability of the Korean version of Developmental Snapshot (K-SNAP) which can be used effectively as a screening and monitoring tool of early language development. Methods: The 52-item questionnaire of the developmental snapshot was adapted into Korean by substituting 10 items. To es-tablish the developmental validity of the K-SNAP, developmental differences in 3-month age intervals were measured in 1,515 children age 4 months to 36 months. To identify the concurrent validity of the K-SNAP, the Pearson product-moment correlation was used with the Korean version of MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories (K M-B CDI), Korean Bayley Scales of Infant Development-II (Korean Bayley II), and spontaneous speech data. The internal consistency of items and test-retest reliability were calculated. Results: Developmental differences in every 3-month interval on the K-SNAP were clearly evident. There were significant correlations between K-SNAP scores and K M-B CDI scores. Korean Bayley II and spontaneous utterance data were significantly correlated with the K-SNAP score. Items showed high internal consistency and test-retest results were highly correlated. Conclusion: K-SNAP can be used as a valid and reliable tool to screen and moni-tor early language and communication development in conjunction with the Korean De-velopmental Screening Test for Infants and Children (K-DST) and K M-B CDI. Further studies are needed to detail the sensitivity and specificity of K-SNAP.
