국문 초록

사회경제적 트렌드는 일의 성격에 영향을 끼쳐왔고, 일의 성격이 변화함에 따라 요구되는 기술도 달라져왔다. 오늘날의 불안정한 노동환경은 결정론적 전문성이 아니라 변화하는 노동환경의 요구에 따라 변형할 수 있는 보다 유동적인 성격의 전문성을 필요로 하고 있다. 또한 '특허'로 대표되는 '혁신'에 대한 강조는 지식 중점 산업에 대한 현대사회의 집중적 관심을 나타낸다. 현재 긍정적으로 평가받고 있는 기술모델은 앵글로 색슨 관점과 독일적인 관점이 혼합된 것으로서, 지식 중점 산업에서 요구되는 근로자의 자격조건은 이론적 지식과 소프트 스킬 (커뮤니케이션 능력 및 인간관계능력)의 조화를 얼마나 잘 이루어내느냐에 있다. 지식중점노동에 적합한 지식노동자를 육성하기 위해 직업교육의 커리큘럼은 사회적 효용성을 강조하기보다 한정된 자원을 충분히 활용하면서 개인의 선택과 학습자의 자발적 노력을 존중하는 측면에서 설계되어야한다고 본 연구는 전망한다.

영문 초록

Social and economic trends have influenced characters of work and skills have changed as the characters of work have been changed. In today's volatile work environment, work activities are characterized not by deterministic but by contingent nature of expertise. On the other hand, the contemporary focus on knowledge-intensive industries can be seen in the emphasis on the 'innovation' represented by 'patents'. Today's honored skills model can be seen as a mix of the Anglo-Saxon skills framework and German's. In addition, the required qualification at knowledge-intensive work lies in the harmony of theoretical knowledge and soft skills. In order to foster knowledge workers appropriate for knowledge-intensive work, vocational education curricula needs to be designed to respect individual choice and learners' voluntary efforts with fully utilizing limited resources rather than emphasizing social efficiency.
