국문 초록

일반적인 지반운동에 대한 산업 시설물들의 증가된 요구사항들로 인하여, 보다 효과적인 진동저감 대책을 위한 지반과 방진둑의 상호 작용특성을 감안하여 진동이 전달되어지는 경로와 특성에 대한 명확한 이해가 필요하다. 이러한 요구는 주거지역으로 부터 갖가지 교 통에 관한 영향이 늘어나고 있는 도시지역 또한 마찬가지이다. 진동의 근원은 다른 산업 현장들 또는 도로와 철도교통 등일 수 있으며, 진동이 고려해야 할 문제로 이미 소음의 차단장치가 구현되어 있다. 즉 소리를 흡수하거나 반사하도록 설계된 소음장벽은 철도를 따라 서 흔히 볼 수 있는 장치이다. 이러한 차단용의 장벽은 콘크리트, 합금, 철강 그리고 목재 등의 거의 모든 재료로 부터 만들어지며, 토질제방 역시 차단용 방벽으로 사용된다. 본 연구에서 제시된 수치적인 조사들은 후자가 진동의 장벽으로서도 효과적으로 작용될 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

영문 초록

Due to the increased requirements of industrial facilities with respect to prevalent ground motions and to establish more effective anti-vibration measures, reflecting soil-embankment dam interaction is required so that the transfer characteristics of vibration induced by a embankment dam can be well identified. The same holds for urban areas with the always increasing impact of traffic of all kinds on residential areas. Sources of vibrations might be other industrial sites, road and rail traffic, among others. Usually, before vibrations are considered as a problem, noise protection measures have already been implemented in the project., therefore noise barriers are a common object along railway tracks, designed to absorb or reflect sound. They are made from virtually any kind of materials like con-crete, alloy, steel, and timber. Occasionally, soil embankments are used as barriers, too. Numerical investigations, presented in this paper, show that at the same time, the latter can also act effectively as a vibration barrier.
