음악치료 프로그램이 군 수형자의 심리정서에 미치는 효과성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 음악치료 프로그램이 군수형자들의 부정적인 심리사회적 정서인 불안, 공격성에 미치는 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 음악치료 프로그램은 총 3회기로 정신분석이론에 입각하여 내용을 구성했으며 10명의 군수형자가 본 프로그램에 참여했다. 분석 결과 충동적 공격성, 특성 불안, 상태 불안 모두 사후 검사가 사전검사보다 낮게 나타났으며, 이들 중 특성 불안의 사전검사와 사후 검사의 차이가 유의미하게 나타났다. 충동적 공격성과 상태 불안은 유의미한 차이가 도출되지는 않았지만 프로그램 참여 후 그 수준이 낮게 나타나, 음악치료 프로그램은 군수형자의 공격성, 불안을 완화시키는 기제로 작용함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 프로그램 실시 후 만족도는 매우 높았으며 향후 본 프로그램이 다시 제공될 때 참여하겠다는 비율이 매우 높았다. 이는 군수형자를 대상으로 한 음악치료 프로그램의 필요성을 뒷받침하는 것을 의미하며, 향후 프로그램 개발에 있어 좀 더 장기적이고 심도 있는 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to verify the effectiveness of music therapy program on military convicts negative psychosocial emotional anxiety and aggression. The content of the music therapy program is constructed in three sessions on the basis of psychoanalytic theory; ten military convicts participated in this program. As a result, all the impulsive aggressiveness, trait anxiety and state anxiety showed lower level in the post-test than pre-test; of these, the trait anxiety showed a significant difference between the pre- and post-test. Though significant differences were not derived in impulsive aggressiveness and state anxiety, the levels were reduced after the attendance of the program. The music therapy program was found to play a mechanism to mitigate the aggression and anxiety of the military convicts. In addition, satisfaction after the program appeared very high, and the rate of willingness to re-attend the program when offered again was very high. This supports the needs for music therapy targeting military convicts; longer and deeper studies are required on further development of the program.
