국문 초록

대통령과 같은 국가요인에 대한 위해는 국가위기를 초래할 수 있는 중대한 문제이다. 대한민국에서는 국가요 인에 대한 안전을 확보하기 위해 대통령경호실에서 경호임무를 수행하고 있다. 현재 경호 관련학과의 많은 학생 들은 대통령경호실에 채용되기를 희망하고 또 이를 위해 준비하고 있다. 그러나 실제 대통령경호실에 채용되는 경호학과 학생은 극소수에 불과한 실정이다. 학생들에게 미래비전을 제시하지 못한다면 경호학전공자들의 이탈과 감소를 조장하게 하는 요인이 되고, 이는 취업률뿐만 아니라 재학생충원율에 상당한 영향을 미치게 된다. 최근 학령인구가 급감하고, 이에 대비하기 위하여 정부차원에서 구조개혁 정책을 펼치고 있다. 특히 대학평가 및 구조 개혁에서 취업률과 재학생충원율은 주요 지표로 작용되고 있다. 이러한 현실적 문제가 해결되지 않을 경우 경호 학과의 침체는 물론 경호학의 발전을 기대하기 어렵다. 경호학과 출신자들은 대통령경호실의 잠재적 인적자원으 로서 준비된 사람들이다. 따라서 경호학의 발전을 위해서는 대통령경호실 특별채용제도를 확대해야 하고, 특히 경호학과 특별채용제도를 도입해야 한다.

영문 초록

Any harm on important figures on the nation such as the President is a critical issue that can cause national crisis. To secure safety of important figure of the nation, the Presidential Security Service performs the security work in Korea. Currently, many students majoring in what is related with security science want to be hired in the Presidential Security Service and are preparing for that. However, only a few students are employed in the Presidential Security Service actually. If a futuristic vision is not presented to the students, it would be a factor to drive breakaway and reduction of the security-majoring students, which would considerably influence on the rate of employment and enrolled students reinforcement. As academic population drops recently, the government spreads structural reform to countermeasure against this. Especially, the rate of employment and enrolled students reinforcement work as a main index in assessment and structural reform of universities. Unless such virtual problems were not solved, department of security science would be depressed and it would be hard to expect development of security science. Graduates of the development of security science are those who are prepared as potential human resources of Presidential Security Service. To develop security service, therefore, a special employment system of Presidential Security Service should be expanded, and a system to especially employ the graduates of Security Science should be introduced.
