그린캠프 입소자를 위한 문제해결치료 프로그램 효과성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 군 복무 부적응 병사들 특히 그린캠프 입소자들에게 문제해결치료(Problem Solving Therapy, PST) 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증해 보는 것이다. 프로그램 개발을 위해 복무 부적응자의 심리적 특성과 실태를 살펴보고, 치료적 방법론으로서 문제해결치료의 적용 가능성을 탐색한 뒤 의미 있는 개념 들을 도출하여 문제해결치료프로그램을 구성하였다. 프로그램의 구성요소는 문제 해결력을 통한 자존감향상 훈 련, 분노 성향에 대한 인식과 분노조절훈련, 의사소통 기술, 목표와 강점 발견을 위한 희망훈련이다. 프로그램의 효과성 검증을 위해 그린캠프에 들어온 27명의 병사들을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하여 3주간 동 안 9회기의 프로그램을 실시하였다. 각 집단별로 자존감, 분노, 문제해결력 척도 검사를 사전, 사후에 실시하고 수집된 자료를 SPSS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 t 검증으로 비교 분석한 결과 실험집단에서 자존감, 분노, 문제 해결력의 모든 항목에서 사전검사보다 사후검사의 평균값이 더 높게 나왔으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 이 러한 이유는 표본수가 작고 피험자의 심리상태가 매우 불안하고 우울감이 높은 대상자들이 비자발적으로 참여한 프로그램이라 동기부여가 되지 않은 상황임을 고려해 볼 수 있다. 그러나 프로그램 조치 후 프로그램 효과성 분 석에서 실험집단에서는 모든 영역에서 전반적으로 긍정적인 변화의 경향을 보였으며 통제 집단에서는 오히려 악 화된 경향성을 비교해 볼 때 향후 그린캠프 입소자를 위한 더욱 현실적이고 효과적인 맞춤형 프로그램 설계의 필 요성을 제기한 것에 큰 의미가 있다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to develop Problem Solving Therapy(PST) program for maladjusted soldiers, especially for Green camp inmates and to prove its effectiveness. To develop the program, psychological traits and conditions of maladjusted soldiers were studied, and then application possibility of PST program as treatment methodology was investigated in order to compose the program with meaningful concepts. Exercises to increase self-esteem by problem solving, awareness of anger traits and anger management, communication skill, hope exercise for finding goals and strengths are all components of the program. To verify the effectiveness of the program, the program was operated 9 times in 3 weeks to 27 soldiers of Green Camp. The group was divided into two groups, experimental group and controlled group. Pre and Post tests to measure self-esteem, anger and problem solving ability was done to each group and T-tests using SPSS program was done with the collected data to compare and analyze the results. Post test results for experimental group’s average was the highest in every respect, but the results of the experiment are not statistically significant. Situations need to be considered since the sample size was small, mental state of test subject groups were uneasy and depressed and were not self motivated to attend the program. However after completing the program, soldiers of experimental group made positive changes in program effectiveness analysis in every aspect. Controlled group showed degenerating tendencies. By comparing these results, the research has significant meaning to raise issues on necessity of effective and realistic programs.
