영문 초록

This study reveals the global status of the halal chicken meat market and inquires into this commodity’s exportability for Korean Producers. According to this study, supplying good quality halal chicken meat is crucial for creating export opportunities to Muslim countries. Production of halal chicken meat by an exclusive slaughter-house certainly enhances the quality and strengthens consumer confidence, which definitely will create opportunities to export to Muslim countries. For the development of the Korean halal industry, a variety of information on halal products should be continuously provided through in-depth research studies, such as feasibility analyses and strategies to penetrate new markets.
