보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원에 대한 국내 실험연구 문헌고찰

국문 초록

긍정적 행동지원(PBS: Positive Behavior Support)은 통합교육 현장에서 학생 및 비장애학생의 문제행동을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라 학생을 둘러싸고 있는 전반적인 환경체제를 변화시켜 문제행동을 예방하고 삶의 전반적인 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 방안으로 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내에서 실시된 보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원과 관련된 실험연구를 조사하여 분석함으로써, 국내에서 이루어지고 있는 보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원의 연구동향과 실제를 파악하고 앞으로 국내 보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원의 연구와 현장적용에 대한 방향을 제시하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내에서 발표된 보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원과 관련된 논문을 조사하여 6편을 최종 분석대상논문으로 선정하였다. 선행연구 분석은 11개의 분석변인(연구대상, 실험환경, 실험설계, 독립변인(중재프로그램), 종속변인(목표행동), 측정방법, 관찰자간 신뢰도, 사회적 타당도, 중재 충실도, 연구결과, 유지 및 일반화)에 따라 심층적으로 분석하였다. 분석변인에 따라 세부적 분석결과를 구체적으로 제시하였으며, 비장애 아동 및 장애아동의 행동중재와 보편적 차원 긍정적 행동지원의 관점에서 그 결과를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Positive behavior support (PBS) is a rapidly evolving intervention approach. The primary emphasis on PBS is not only on reducing problem behaviors, but also achieving quality of life of children and important others in natural settings. PBS uses a broad range of systemic and individualized strategies of prevention and support of problem behaviors. The three key components of PBS are universal support, group support, and individual support. The purpose of this study was to review the literat-ure related to the universal support of PBS including suggestions for PBS practices and future research. A review of the literature was collected from 1997 to 2014. A total of six experimental studies were analyzed in terms of 11 analytic variables as follows; participants, research setting, experimental design, method of measurement, positive behavior support strategies, target behavior, inter-observer reliability, social validation, treatment fidelity, results, maintenance, and generalization. In general, the literature provided positive, and in some cases very strong evidence for effectiveness of the universal PBS. The findings of this study were described in detail based on the analytic variables. Implications of the findings and suggestions for practices and future research on universal PBS were presented.
