영문 초록

This study attempts to expore factors which influence religious participation of old age. Of particular importance are the social interaction. The major findings of this study support importance of religious participation and social participation of old age. They are summarized as follows: First, Religious Participations (public participation, private participation, atttitudes toward participation) of old age were relatively high level. Of the variables education, financial status, self-reported health were significant with religious participation.(ANOVA) Second. Social participation (satisfaction of social participation, attitudes toward social participation) of old age were relatively high level. Of variables finacial status, self-reported health were siginificant with social participation.(ANOVA) Third. Of the variables employed the best predictor of the religious participation was attitude toward social participation. And the best predictor of the public participation was satisifaction of social particippation, private participation. Finally the best predictor of the attitude toward religious participation was attitude toward social participation.(MULTIPLE REGRESSION) Forth, Social participation factors were highly correlated with the religious participation. Especially public religious participation correlated with attitude toward social participation. The more active they are involved with satisfaction of social participation, attitude toward social participation, the more extended religious participation of old age.(PEARSON CORRELATION)
