국문 초록

본 연구는 노인부양자의 스트레스를 부양자 유형에 따라 비교연구함으로써 가족생활에서 부양으로 인하여 발생할 수 있는 스트레스를 해결하는 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울 및 수도권내에 거주하는 노인단독가구로 할아버지를 모시고 계신 할머니 81명과 시부모님과 함께 살고 있는 며느리 178명을 대상으로 하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다 : 1. 사회인구학적 변인에 따라 살펴 본 결과, 피부양자의 문제에 있어서 할머니와 며느리 집단 모두 피부양자의 신체적 건강상태가 건강할수록 사고능력이 좋고 문제행동을 적게하는 것으로 부양자는 생각하였다. 그리고 부양스트레스인지 변인에 있어서 두 집단 모두 피부양자의 성별이 남자이고 건강상태가 나쁜 경우 전반적으로 스트레스를 많이 받았으며, 스트레스대처방안에 있어서는 할머니의 경우만 유의하게 피부양자의 건강상태가 좋을때 스트레스대처방안을 자주 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 피부양자의 사고능력이 좋을수록 문제 행동을 적게 하는 것으로 부양자는 생각하였으며, 부양으로 인한 스트레스를 덜 느끼고 대처방안을 자주 사용하였다. 3. 부양과 스트레스에 대한 사회인구학적 변인의 영향력을 살펴본 결과 피부양자의 건강상태가 부양자 스트레스에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the caregiver stress according to caregiver type. For its purpose, the sample was selected from 81 grandmothers living with only her husband and 178 daughters-in-law living with one parents-in-law at least. The results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. Care receiver's problem, caregiving stress perception, stress coping of grandmothers and daughters-in-law differ each other and under many variables. In the care receiver's problem, the care receiver's problem mean of grandmother's case was higher than that of daughters-in-law case therefore they thought thinking abilities and problematic behavior positively. In the caregiving stress perception, daughters-in-law case was stressed more than grandmother's case generally. In the stress coping, grandmother's case used the stress coping strategies more of ten than daughters-in-law case. 2. The care receiver's problem, caregiving stress perception, stress coping strategies are correlated by the grandmothers and daughters-in-law. In both cases, the more thinking abilities is good and problematic behavior is rare, the less caregiver is stressed and often used the coping strategies. 3. In both cases, physical health status of the received care affected the correlation of care receiver's problem, caregiving stress perception, stress coping strategies.
