노인복지시설의 사회화에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 여러 가지 문제점 때문에 사회복지시설이 논의에서 제외되고 있으며, 지역사회복지의 자원으로 인정받지 못하고 있는 것에 대한 문제의식에서 진행되었다. 이러한 경향에 대한 비판적 논거로서 1970년대 이후부터 최근까지 논의와 실천이 이루어져 온 일본의 시설사회화를 제시하였다. 시설사회화에 기초하여 현재 국내에서도 지역사회교류를 중심으로 하여 진행되고 있는 시설사회화의 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 파악하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구를 수행하기 위하여 노인복지시설 전체를 조사하였고, 조사방식은 우편 조사를 선택하였다. 수집된 조사표는 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 통계처리 하였다. 본 연구의 조사결과는 다음과 같다. 시설운영자의 의식 변인은 운영의 사회화, 문제의 사회화, 공적 행정과의 연계, 전체 시설사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 인력 변인 중 시설직원수는 운영의 사회화와 문제의 사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지사 비율은 문제의 사회화와 전체 시설사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시설사회화 담당직원수는 처우의 사회화, 기능의 사회화, 문제의 사회화, 전체 시설사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시설특성 변인 중 비용별 시설종류는 처우의 사회화, 운영의 사회화, 문제의 사회화, 공적 행정과의 연계, 전체 시설사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기능별 시설종류는 처우의 사회화와 공적 행정과의 연계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시설생활자의 정신적 건강수준은 처우의 사회화에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시설설비의 양은 모든 시설사회화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 주민참가의 수준 또한 시설사회화의 모든 범주에 대해서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of study is to find factors affecting the socialization of welfare institutions for the elderly. The research objects are all the welfare institutions for the elderly. Research method is quantitative approach by question research. Question investigation was accomplished by mail research. Analysis approach is frequency, cronbach's alpha and multiple regression. The result is as follows : 1) The socialization of treatment factor was affected in the order of the level of residents participation, the institution kind by charge, the institution kind by function, the psychiatric health level of the elderly in institution, the step number charging the socialization of institutions and the number of institution equipments. 2) The socialization of function factor was affected in the order of the number of institution equipments, the level of residents participation and the step number charging the socialization of institutions. 3) The socialization of operation factor was affected in the order of the level of residents participation, the institution kind by charge, the step number charging the socialization of institutions, the number of institution equipments and the consciousness of operaters. 4) The socialization of problem factor was affected in the order of the level of residents participation, the institution kind by charge, the ratio of social workers, the number of institution equipments, the number of step, the consciousness of operaters and the step number charging the socialization of institutions. 5) The connection with public administration factor was affected in the order of the level of residents participation, the institution kind by charge, the consciousness of operaters, the institution kind by function and the number of institution equipments. 6) The general socialization of welfare institutions was affected in the order of the level of residents participation, the institution kind by charge, the ratio of social worker, the step number charging the socialization of institutions and the consciousness of operaters. Consequently, this study shows that the level of residents participation, the number of institution equipments and the consciousness of operaters influence greatly the socialization of welfare institutions. Accordingly, we can indicate that welfare institutions must make efforts and the government must support taking precedence of these sides.
