국문 초록

이 시대의 중요한 화두는 자국의 문화적 정체성을 찾는 것이다. 한국 문화만의 정체성을 찾기 위해서는 같은 동아시아의 문화권에 속한 중국과 일본을 제외할 수 없을 것이다. 궁궐 건축은 창궐 당시 국가가 표방하고자 하는 정치적 이념을 상징하는 건축이다. 궁궐에 적용된 의장요소는 최고의 기술과 사유로 형성되었다. 민족 조형의식 표현의 기본이 되고, 민족의 감정, 의식체계, 미에 대한 기준 등이 가장 잘 반영되는 부분이라 할 수 있다. 또한 현대에서 중요한 화두로 떠오르고 있는 문화적 상징성이 있다. 이를 위해 삼국 궁궐의 정전 지붕부에 적용된 의장요소들을 비교분석하였다. 비교대상은 비슷한 시기 최고 권력자가 살던 창덕궁 인정전, 자금성 태화전, 니조성의 니노마루고텐을 선정하였다. 그리고 분석 결과를 바탕으로 현대 공간에 걸맞는 스툴을 디자인하였다. 연구는 문헌조사와 현지답사를 함께 진행하여 사진자료를 모았고, 의장요소를 정리, 분석하였다. 궁궐이 지어질 당시 한중일 삼국이 처했던 정치, 사상을 고려하여 사용된 의장요소의 상징과 의미를 심층적으로 해석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 파악된 한중일 삼국 궁궐 의장요소는 각국이 역사적으로 거쳐온 정치적, 사상적, 지리적 환경에 따라 다른 방향으로 발전해왔음을 도출하였다. 첫째, 황제와 왕, 쇼군이라는 정치체제의 차이에 따라 다른 모습을 보였다. 둘째, 유교와 불교, 도교를 받아들이는 방식에 따라서 표현과 상징성에 차이를 가져왔다. 셋째, 지리적 여건에 따라 표현의 독창성과 상징성에 차이를 가져왔다.

영문 초록

I think that it is important to find the cultural identity of the country in this time. We need to consider China and Japan which are belonged to the East-Asian Culture to find the identity of Korean Culture. Building the Palaces reflects the political ideology that the nation wants when it began to build. The design that was applied to the palace is formed into the best technologies and considerations. The design Shows the sensibility, spiritual system of the nation and standards of beauty. And cultural symbolism is also critical in the modern society. I compared and analized the design which is applied to the roof of palaces in three nations. Injeongjeon of Changdeok palace, Taehwajeon of Jageum castle and Ninomarugoten of Nijo castle are what I compared and analized and these are places where the most powerful people live. And based on the result of the analysis, design stool suitable for the modern space. I did the research, especially I collected the photos by proceeding reviewing the Literature and visiting the sites. After doing that, I arranged and reviewed the designs. I interpreted the meaning of designs that are considered the political situation while building the palaces in the three nations.(Kor, Chn, Jpn) This research shows that the design of the palaces in three nations has developed differently through the political and ideological, geographical situation. First, the Emperor and the King, Shogun of the political system appeared to be different. Second, Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism lead to expression and a symbol, depending on how the differences brought on. Third, depending on geographical conditions, has brought creativity of expression and the differences of the symbol.
