외국인노동자의 소비문화갈등 및 적응

국문 초록

21세기 빠른 세계화와 정보화는 인적, 물적 교류의 확대가 필연적인 것이며, 이에 따라 국내에 유입된 외국인의 수는 빠른 속도로 증가될 것으로 예측된다는 점이다. 그러나 외국인노동자에 대한 문화적응에 대한 분석적인 연구는 매우 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 외국인노동자를 대상으로 문화갈등 및 적응 요소와 소비문화적응이 문화수용에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 문화갈등 및 문화적응의 업무적응, 일반적응, 상호작용적응이 문화수용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 소비문화적응의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 업무적응과 소비문화적응의 상호작용이 문화수용에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The republic of korea is experiencing the social and economical effect due to the global change. As of August 2007, the number of foreign residents has reached more than 1,000,000 including short-term foreign population. Thus the total population of foreign residents composes of 2% of legally registered population. Increase of migrant workers is the main reason of korea's multiculturalism. The purposes of this study were to analyze the effects of acculturation on foreign workers' acceptance. For those purposes, a questionnaire was made up based on the literature about acculturation, and a survey was taken among foreign workers in korea. This research is intended to focus from an abjective point of view on acculturation and consumption culture of foreign worker. The results are as follows. Acculturation has a positive effect on the cultural acceptance of foreign workers and consumption acculturation has moderating effects on the cultural acceptance of foreign workers. Therefore, the consumption acculturation of foreign workers should be enhanced to achieve reinforcement of improving acceptance of foreign workers. In the future, more precise and in-depth guestionnaires should be developed to analysis the consumption culture approach of acculturation.
