뉴 미디어 시대의 바람직한 통일교육의 방향

국문 초록

이 연구는 뉴미디어 시대의 교육적 특성을 살펴보고 이를 토대로 통일교육의 개선 방향을 찾아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우선 이 연구는 뉴미디어 시대의 통일교육의 중요성을 확인하고, 뉴미디어 시대의 개념과 특징, 사회적 패러다임의 변화로서 뉴미디어 시대의 스마트 혁명, 사회 영역에서 스마트 혁명의 영향, 뉴미디어 시대의 교육의 특성을 고찰하였다. 이러한 논의를 토대로 이 연구는 현재의 통일교육을 Web 1.0≧Web 2.0⋟Web 3.0 형태의 통일교육이라고 표현하였다. 이러한 유형의 통일교육은 다음과 같은 특징, 즉 공감대 결핍의 통일교육, 양 중심의 통일교육 강조, 희망이 결핍된 교육, 욕심 많은 강요된 교육이라는 특성을 지님을 지적하였다. 그리고 이러한 면을 극복하고 뉴미디어를 활용하여 민주적 통일리더십을 형성하기 위한 통일교육은 우선, 자기주도적 학습 성향, 개방성, 즉각적 접속 가능한 스마트 러닝 경향성, 민주적 시민성에 기초한 개방성, 창조성, 유연성을 갖춘 스마트 세대에 부합해야 하는 것이어야 한다. 그리고 교사는 통일교육에서 SNS를 자유자재로 활용할 수 있어야 한다. 그럼으로써 통일교육은 학습자들의 창의적 사고 능력, 개방성에 기초한 아이디어 창출 능력, 통일 한국에서 갈등 해결 능력, 통일을 달성하려는 소망 등을 함양하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the educational characteristics within the age of New Media, and to suggest direction for the development of education with regards to unification. In order to accomplish this goal, first, this paper recognized the importance of unification education in the age of New Media, examined the definition and features of New Media, smart revolution in the age of New Media as the change of social paradigm, the influence of smart revolution in the social area, and educational characteristics in the age of New Media. On the basis of these discussions, this study compared current unification education to Web 1.0≧Web 2.0⋟Web 3.0. This type of unification education holds the same characteristics as a lack of A bond of sympathy, emphasis on the quantity aspects of education, hard-to-find hope, and greedy unification education under pressure. Finally, this study suggests the way to improve the age of New Media for the building of democratic unification leadership. First, education for unification corresponds with the smart generation that have self-directed learning inclinations, omnipresence tendencies, instantaneous access-oriented s-learning, openness, creativity, and flexibility. Furthermore, teachers have to use social network services in unification education quite freely. Thereby, unification education will cultivate an environment where learners have the ability to engage in creativity thinking, create new ideas on the basis of openness, competence of conflict solution in unification Korea, and learner's aspiration to achieve unification.
