국문 초록

이 논문의 목적은 평생 경력(lifelong career)에 대해 더 좋은 학습 및 역량 평가 방법론을 구축하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 평생 경력에 대한 모형을 구축하고자 문헌 연구를 진행하였다. 다음으로 학술적 학습뿐만 아니라 경험적 학습도 동시에 고려한 종합적 방법으로 평생 경력을 평가하는 방법론 모형을 제시하였다. 이 모형은 실무를 통해서 배운 내용의 가치를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것이며, 또한 기업이 현재 종사하고 있는 분야와는 다른 분야에 지원하는 장년층 근로자를 평가하는데 활용할 수 있다. 평가자는 이 모형을 이용하여 경력에 대한 경험적 학습 부분을 평가하게 됨으로써 지원자의 학습수준을 더 적절하게 파악할 수 있을 것이며, 결과적으로 고용가능성도 보다 정확하게 평가할 수 있게 될 것이다. 사회적으로도 근로자의 고용기간이 길어지는 것이 바람직하며, 개인적으로도 경험이 구직에 도움이 된다면 평생 학습에 관심을 가지게 될 것이다. 요약한다면 본 논문에서는 직업을 구하려는 장년층 근로자의 경험적 학습의 정도를 평가하는데 활용할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하였다는 점이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to construct better learning and competence assessment methodology for lifelong careers. A literature study has been performed for model construction of lifelong careers. In the article there are developed assessment methodologies that look at lifelong careers in a holistic way based not only on academic learning, but especially on experiential learning theory. The models created gives an understanding of the value of learning from practice and they can be used by employers in assessing mature candidates, who are applying for jobs especially jobs in other fields than their present. By using assessment methodology on the experiential learning part of a career, assessors obtain more valid assessment of candidates’ learning and thereby their employability. Societies want to keep individuals in the workforce longer, and individuals themselves have an own interest in continuing learning - especially if it can give them credit in a job application situation. The article proposes assessment methodology for experiential learning that can be utilized by employers in assessing mature candidates for jobs.
