영문 초록

This paper empirically analyzes the impact of export and Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) on employment growth in Busan with annual GRDP, export, FDI data over the period 1986~2009. I use the correlation coefficient analysis and Cobb-Douglas production function to derive the estimated equation of labor demand and then estimates its coefficient by using multi regression model in Busan. The results of estimation show that employment growth in Busan has more influenced by domestic growth than by export and also by FDI than by export. So it should be noted that the job creation of FDI is superior to that of export. When it comes to the employment policy in Busan, Busan city focus on implementing the policies which enhance the investment for the domestic growth just like FDI rather than which encourages the export.
