발도르프 유아교육이 유아의 감성지능과 창의성에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 그동안 실천되어 온 발도르프 유아교육이 유아의 감성지능과 창의성에 어떠한 효과가 있는지를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 발도르프 유아교육을 경험한 유아(이하 발도르프 집단)와 경험하지 않은 유아(이하 일반 집단)들 중 만 5세 유아를 대상으로, 유아용 감성지능 척도(이승은, 이영석, 2004)와 유아용 통합 창의성 검사(이경화, 이신동, 2003)도구를 사용하여 감성지능과 창의성을 측정하였다. 두 집단간 차이 검증(t-test)결과, 감성지능에서 발도르프 집단이 감성지능 및 감성지능을 구성하는 모든 하위요인의 점수가 일반 집단보다 높게 나타났고, 이는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이로 나타났다. 창의성에서는 창의성의 하위요인 중 언어창의성은 모든 하위요인에서, 도형 창의성은 새로운 요소첨가에서만 발도르프 집단이 일반 집단보다 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 창의적 성격에서는 하위요인 중 독립심, 모험심, 과제집착력에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 두 집단의 상관분석 결과, 발도르프 집단과 일반 집단의 감성지능과 창의성 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해서 발도르프 유아교육이 유아의 감성지능과 창의성 발달에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aims at confirming what effect of Waldorf earIy childhood education which has been implemented on an children’s emotional intelligence and creativity. Accordingly, this study measured the emotional intelligence and creativity using the tools of emotional intelligence standards [Lee, Seungeun, Lee, Youngseok,2004] and tools of integrated creativity test for early childhood[Lee, Kyunghwa, Lee,Shin-dong, 2003] by targeting the children in full five years old among the early childhood who have been in contact with Waldorf early childhood education[hereinafter, Waldorf group] and who haven’t been in contact with Waldorf early childhood education[hereinafter, General group]. As a result of a difference test between the two groups using t-test, the Waldorf group showed higher grades of all subordinate factors comprising emotional intelligence & creativity than the General group, which came out as a significant difference statistically. As for infants’ creativity, Waldorf group showed a significant difference in all subordinate factors statistically than General group in the sector of linguistic creativity among the subordinate factors in creativity and as for creativity in diagram, Waldorf group showed a higher significant difference statistically only in the sector of new additions of elements than General group. In addition, as for creative character, an independent spirit, adventurous spirit, and adhesion to the given assignment among the subordinate factors showed a significant difference statistically. The correlation analysis between the two groups indicated that there exists a significant static correlation statistically between emotional intelligence and creativity of the two groups. Through this study, it was found out that Waldorf early childhood education has a positive effect on an infant’s development of emotional intellignece and creativity.
