평생교육사의 전문직업화 과정 분석모형 개발과 그 적용에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 직업사회학에서 전문직의 사회적 형성과정을 다루는 전문직업화 모형 분석을 통해 국내 평생교육사가 현재의 평생교육사 모습과 위상을 취하게 되었던 과정을 탐색할 수 있는 분석모형을 고안하고 이를 적용하여 모형으로서 가능성을 탐색하는데 목적을 둔다. 도출된 분석모형에서 전문직업화 과정은 사회·역사적 흐름 속에서 외부적 요인과 집단 내 구성원들이 상호작용하며 전문직업성의 핵심요소들이 역동적으로 드러나는 변천 과정으로 규정한다. 이러한 개념적 접근에 근거하여 평생교육사의 전문직업화 과정 분석모형이 크게 두 가지 형태로 도출되었다. 첫째, 전문직업화 분석요소에 근거하여 시기별로 그 변천과정을 분석하는 모형이다. 둘째, 각 요소 형성에 있어서 영향을 미친 여타 행위자를 규명하여 전문직업화 전개과정 속에서 평생교육사의 '사회적 차원(지위명망획득)', '경제적 차원(시장확보)'에서 전문직프로젝트 수행 여부와 추구실태를 살펴본다. 분석모형 적용은 평생교육법 전부개정 이후 2008년부터 현재까지 문헌에 기초하여 이루어졌으며, 평생교육사의 전문직업화 특징이 분석되었다. 이를 시대적 흐름에 따라 적용할 경우, 전문직업화 변천과정의 경향분석과 평생교육사의 전문직업화 미래 방향 제안이 가능할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is to devise the analysis model to search the course for Korea lifelong educator to occupy the status of lifelong educator at present through the professionalization model analysis which handles the social formation process for a profession in the occupational sociology and it is purposed to explore the possibility as an analysis model via application of it. The process of the professionalization in the derived analysis model is defined as the interaction between the external factors in the social and historical flow and the members in the occupational group, and the changing process of dynamic revealing the core factors of professionalism. The analysis model for the professionalization process of the lifelong educator was derived in two phases based on such conceptual approach. First, it is a model to analyze the changing process for each period based on the professionalization analysis factors. Second, this study is to look into whether the profession project is performed in terms of ‘social dimension (obtaining the status and reputation)', ‘economic dimension (market dominance)' for the lifelong educator and the status of pursuit in the development process of professionalization by identifying the other actors who made influence on the formation of each factor. The application of the analysis model has been made on the basis of the documents from 2008 to the present since the revision of the laws for lifelong education. And the characteristics of the professionalization of the lifelong educator was analyzed. The trend analysis of the changing process of the professionalization and the suggestion for the direction of professionalization in the future will be available if it is applied along the flow of times.
