개혁주의 설교와 4인의 설교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 개혁주의 설교학의 관점에서 한국교회 4인설교자의 설교를 평가한다. 먼저 개혁주의 강해설교의 기초를 다섯 가지로 제시한 후, 4인의 설교자들의 설교를 살펴보고자 한다. 개혁주의 강해설교가 지향하는 과제는 첫째, 모든 성경은 계시된 하나님의 말씀이며 둘째, 설교자는 저자의 의도를 찾아 전해야 한다는 점과, 셋째, 성경신학적 관점에서 예수 그리스도를 향해 설교가 진행되어야 하며, 넷째, 적용을 통해 청중의 삶을 촉구하는 설교, 그리고 마지막으로 성령님으로 말미암는 변화의 역사를 들 수 있다. 4인의 설교자로는 무릎으로 하나님을 움직이는 정필도 목사님, 삶에 뿌리내린 적용으로 청중을 움직이는 최병남 목사님, 성경본문의 세계를 열어주는 박광석 목사님, 그리고 마지막으로 거룩한 삶을 향해 불타오르는 김남준 목사님의 설교를 연구한다. 연구결과 4인 모두 철저한 개혁주의적 성경관에 기초하여 청중의 변화를 위해 설교하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 예수 그리스도를 중심으로 한 구속사적 설교와 성령님의 강력한 역사를 추구하고 있다. 하나님의 진리의 말씀이라는 성경관과 살아계신 성령님의 사역이 희미해져 가는 서구교회에 4인의 설교는 도전을 던질 것이다. 진정한 기독교의 부흥은 진리의 말씀과 성령님의 활동으로 이루어지기 때문이다. 진정한 개혁주의 설교를 뿌리내리기 위해 필자는 한 가지를 지적했다. 설교란 예수님께서 주어진 본문을 통해 전하고자 하시는 그 말씀을 전하는 것이다. 따라서 설교자의 일차적 관심은 저자가 본문을 통해 말하고자 하는 것을 바르게 깨달아 전하는 것이다. 설교자는 전적으로 성경저자의 권위에 복종할 때 진정한 설교는 탄생되는 것이다. 이번 연구로 말미암아 한국교회에 개혁주의 설교의 기반이 제시되고 개혁주의 설교의 바람이 더욱 불기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the sermons of four Preachers of the Korean Church from Reformed homileticalperspective. We will first discuss the five main cornerstones of Reformed expository preaching, and will continue to investigate the sermons of four preachers. The first foundation of Reformed expository preaching is the principle that the whole Scripture is the revealed Word of God. Second is that the preachermust search for and preach the sole intention of the author. Third is the rule that the sermon must be preached and unfolded with Jesus Christ as the main focus from a biblical theological perspective. Fourth, sermons must be applicable in the lives of listeners, and finally is the fact that the Holy Spirit works and changes people’s lives. The four preachers that are to be discussed today is Pastor Chung Pil-Do, who moves and touches the very heart of God through prayer, Pastor Choi Byung-Nam, who moves the congregation through his powerful application, Pastor Park Kwang-Suk, who opens a new world through the Scripture, and finally, Pastor Kim Nam-Jun, whose desires for a holy, blameless life is powerfully manifested through his sermons. Through the results of this study, it has been agreed upon that these four preachers all place their foundations on a very orthodox Reformed Homiletic view of the Scripture and preach for the transformation of the congregation’s lives in Jesus Christ. Similarly, they all aim for redemptive-historical sermons that focus upon Jesus Christ, and the presence and revealing work of the Holy Spirit. The sermons of these four preachers will challenge the western churches, whose view of the Bible as the absolute truth and the acknowledgment of the ministry of the Holy Spirit looses focus and fades day by day. True Christian revival is possible only through the living Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. I have made an observation, in order for true Reformed preaching to sink its roots into today’s church. Real preaching focuses on proclaiming the message that Jesus Christ tries to get across through the Scripture. Therefore, the sole purpose and goal of the preacher is to fully understand the author’s intention and to faithfully convey it to the listener. A sermon is ‘born’only when the preacher fully submits to the authority of the author of the Scripture. I pray that through this study, the cornerstones of Reformed preaching can be established within the Korean Church and that the life-giving message of Jesus Christ will be most vividly portrayed through it.
