뇌성마비 아동의 모음산출에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌성마비 아동의 모음 산출 능력을 조사하기 위하여, 뇌성마비 아동 집단(12명)과 정상 아동 집단(10명)을 대상으로 유의미한 단음절 낱말 수준에서 모음의 포먼트를 측정하여 비교, 분석하였다. 측정된 제 1 포먼트(F1 )와 제 2 포먼트(F2 )를 기초로 모음변별 산출능력과 모음 삼각도의 크기를 비교한 결과, 두 측정치 모두에서 뇌성마비 아동의 모 음산출 능력이 정상 아동에 비해 제한되어 있었으며, 뇌성마비 하위 유형인 경직형과 불수의형의 비교에서 모음변별 능력에는 뚜렷한 차이가 없었으나, 모음 삼각도의 면적크기에서는 경직형이 불수의형에 비해 상대적으로 컸다.

Resu lt s r ev ealed th at th e cer ebr al - palsied gr oup sh ow ed limit ed ability in con t r asting v owels compar ed with the n ormal group. Howev er , no dist in ct differ en ces in v owel cont r ast s were found between the athet oid and spastic types . Secon dly , in order t o a s ses s the speech intelligibility , the formant triangle areas which were plott ed by the mean v alues of F 1 and F2 for the three v owels of / i/ , / u/ , and / a/ wer e compar ed among th e thr ee group s . It was ob serv ed that (1) the n ormal group ex hibit ed larg er ar ea than th e cer ebr al - palsied group an d that (2) the spast ic group showed larger ar ea than the athetoid group. T h e findin g s sug gest that speech types of athet oid and spast ic cer ebr al - palsied childr en can b e distinguish ed from each other by the different ar eas of formant t rian gles r ather than by th e v owel cont r ast s per se.
