국문 초록

동국진체(東國眞體)는 17.18세기의 서예가인 이서， 윤두서， 윤순， 이광사를 중심으로 전개된 서예개혁 운동이자 ‘ 개혁서예’의 대명사라고 할 수 있다 특히 이서와 이광사는 본격 적인 서예 이론인 「필결」과 「서결」을 저술하여， 서예의 개혁과 그 대안을 제시하였다. 이를 토대로 창안된 동국진체는 새롭게 구축(樞緊)된 서예의 내용과 형식이 반영된 것 이다.‘동국진체(東國眞體)’ 는 ‘조선의 참된 글 씨 ’ 라는 뜻 이다 그러므로 동국 진체(東國眞體)에서 ‘진(眞)’ 은 ‘참되다’ 는 뜻 이며 서예의 이상적(理想的) 본질(本質)을 의미한다. 동국진체 書家들이 서예의 이상적 본질과 그 실체(實體)를 ‘眞’으로 설정하고， 그 것을 찾아가는 진지한 도정(道程)에서 동국진체는 출현하였다. 동국진체 서가들이 낡은 서예를 개혁하고 새롭게 지향(志向)한 서예세계 는 조선 선비의 고도의 철학적 이상세계이자， 인간과 자연이 완벽하게 합일(合一)된 세계이다. 동국진체 는 한마디로 민족 주체적 서예 개혁 운동이며 ， 고유성， 철학성 ， 독창성， 주체성을 지닌 조선서예의 상정이라 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Donggukjinche has been developed with Lee seo , Yoon do-seo, Yoon soon, Lee kwang- sa as the central figures who are the calligraphists of the 17th, 18th century. We can say it is the reformation movement of calligraphy and the synonym of ’reformed calligraphy'. Especially Lee seo and Lee kwang-sa advanced a theory on calligraphy, Pilgyoul and Seogyoul. It was to set up the virtue of calligraphy. Based on this thought, Donggukjinche was created by new mind and method. ’Donggukjinche’means ’the truthful calligraphy of Chosun'. Therefore , the ’Jin’of ’Donggukjinche’means ’truthful’and ideal nature of calligraphy. The calligraphists of Donggukjinche had appointed on ’Jin’as the ideal nature of calligraphy, and on the way to seek it, Donggukjinche made its appearance. The calligraphsts of Donggukjinche reform ed the old and headed for the new calligraphy. The new one has a philosophical idea and it is the perfectly united world of human and nature. To make short of a long story, Donggukjinche is a revolution of calligrapgy which was generated independently by people of Chos un. ’Jinche’includes the peculiarity, the philosophy, the originality and the identity. In result, Donggukjinche is the symbol of Chosun calligraphy.
