This paper starts with describing the remarkable achievement made by Korean automotive industry in the past there decades Then it analyzes the unfavorable circumstances, such as shrinking demand for automobile, the opening of the do-mestic market, and over-all downturn of Korean economy, currently facing Koran automotive industry However, it is asserted in the paper that those conditions can be challenges which Korean automotive industry has to meet and overcome anyway Futhermore, it is also said in the paper this might, be a good opportunity which Korean automotive industry can utilize in order to lever itself in the paper as one of the key factors for the successful levelling-up efforts in certain major areas to successfully conduct the restructuring And related strategies and the means are presented in that regard
