내재요인모형에 기초한 지능의 구조모형 검증

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 최근에 지능의 구조모형으로 수렴되고 있는 위계모형의 적합성을 확인하고 특히, 위계모형을 추정하는 방법 중 일반요인에 기인한 변량 분리가 효과적으로 가능한 내재요인모형의 적합성을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 고등학교 1학년 837명을 대상으로 지능검사를 실시하였다. 지능검사의 8개 하위척도를 요인분석한 결과,　결정지능과 수리지능, 공간지능의 세 요인이 타당한 요인구조임을 확인하였다. 지능의　위계모형 추정방법에 따라 고차요인모형과 내재요인모형을 경쟁모형으로 하여 적합도를 검증한 결과, 내재요인모형이 가장 간명하고 적합한 모형임을 확인하였다. 내재요인모형에서 추정한 지능요인과 다른 변인간의 관계를 분석할 경우, 일반지능에 기인한 변량을 효과적으로 분리하여 집단지능요인과 다른 변인간의 관계를 명확하게 설명할 수 있도록 기여할 것이다. 특히, 영재성의 측정과 관련하여, 지능과 다른 변인(창의성, 동기)간의 관계를 보다 정확하게 설명하는데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to test hierarchical model for intelligence and to　verify that nested factor model is the best fit model among the structure models of　intelligence. In order to examine these, ability tests were administered to 837 high　school students. As a result of the factor analysis, ability tests consisted of three　factors-gc, gq, gv. It was demonstrated that validity of factor structure of intelligence. The results of this study are summarized as follow. Nested factor model were　identified the best fit model among the competing models of intelligence structure　model-higher order factor model, nested factor model. It was not only verified　hierarchical models were fitter but also, nested factor model was fitter than　higher-order factor model among hierarchical models. It is suggested that application of nested factor model to clearly examine the relation　between intelligence and other constructs.
