국문 초록

가족친화환경으로서의 생활가로는 모든 가족 구성원의 안전성, 접근성, 편리성, 쾌적성 및 가족 돌봄 기능이 확보된 최소 단위의 공적공간으로, 주거단지와 공공영역 접점에 위치하는 보행자 중심의 일상생활 환경이라고 정의할 수 있다. 보행로와 차로의 배치 형식, 근린생활시설의 위치 및 주거단지와의 연결 관계에 따른 생활가로의 유형은 인접 병렬형, 독립 병렬형, 보행로 중심 직교형, 차로 중심 직교형의 네 가지로 구분할 수 있다. 대표적인 사례를 인접 병렬형은 서울 용산구 동부이촌동, 독립 병렬형은 성남시 분당구 서현동, 보행로 중심 직교형은 군포시 궁내동, 차로 중심 직교형은 고양시 일산구 주엽동을 선정하였다. 공간의 물리적인 속성과 사용자 관점에서 안전성(Safety), 접근성(Accessibility), 편리성(Convenience), 쾌적성(Amenity) 의 네 가지 요소를 SACA로 칭하며 가족친화환경으로서의 생활가로의 계획 목표로 설정하고, 이를 분석의 틀로 활용할 수 있다. 사례조사 분석 결과 현재 생활가로는 가족 구성원들이 독립적으로 또는 같이 비교적 활발하게 이용하고 있는 가족친화환경의 대표적인 공간이다. 활발한 이용에도 불구하고 물리적인 공간의 수준은 질적인 측면에서 개선해야 할 요소를 많이 안고 있다. 생활가로는 가족친화환경을 구현하는 출발점으로서의 의의를 지니며, 현재의 문제점을 개선하고 설계지침 마련을 통해 새롭게 조성되는 생활가로의 기준 제시가 필요하다. 또한 물리적 환경을 구현하고자 하는 건축 및 도시계획 분야의 하드웨어 구축을 위한 접근을 법규 및 제도와 같은 소프트웨어를 마련하는 인문사회적 연구와 병행함으로써, 진정한 가족친화환경의 구현이 가능하다.

영문 초록

Community corridor as family-friendly environment is a basic unit of public space ensuring safety, accessibility, convenience, amenity, and family care service. In other words, community corridor centered pedestrian can be defined as an interface between the residential area and living environment. According to layout of pedestrian street and driving road, location of living facilities and relationship with residential area, community corridor can be divided into four different types: dependant parallel type, independent parallel type, pedestrian centered crossing type, road centered crossing type. To survey and analyze, the representative cases of community corridor are selected by each types: Dongbuichon-Dong in Seoul, Seohyun-Dong in Bundang, Gungnae-Dong in Sanbon and Jooyup-Dong in Ilsan. Considering physical characteristics of space and user, safety, accessibility, convenience, and amenity should be the goal of planning to build a community corridor. As mentioned four elements can be abbreviated to SACA. Currently community corridor is a representative space of living environment, used by family members separately or together. Regardless of the active use, the spatial condition of community corridor should be more improved . Family-friendly environment can be stared with community corridor, for this implementation it is essential to address current problems and make design guidelines. In conclusion, to create a true family-friendly environment it is necessary to progress the social researches in the simultaneously with the architectural investigations.
