국문 초록

  본 연구는 우리나라기업의 경영품질을 평가하는데 도움이 되고자 한국경영품질 지수(Korean Management Quality Index)를 개발하여 기업체에게 도움을 주고자 한다. 이는 우리나라 기업의 경영품질 성과를 파악하여 현재 우리나라 기업들의 현 위치를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 특히 정보시스템이 기업전반에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 제조업과 서비스 분야, 종업원수와 연간 매출액을 기준으로 중소기업과 대기업으로 나누어 각 각 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과 서비스 업체보다 제조업체의 성과가 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 종업원의 수가 1,000명 이상의 기업과 연간 매출액이 1,000만불 이상의 기업이 경영품질 성과가 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this research is to develop the Korean Management Quality Index for performance excellence in order to help Korean companies conduct self-assessments. This research addresses the level of companies’ management quality performances in Korea. We compare performance level between manufacturing and service sectors, and between small and large companies based on the number of employees and the amount of revenue. Our companies on indicates that average performance level of manufacturing companies is greater than that of service companies. Performance level of companies with over 1,000 employees is greater than companies with less than 1,000 employees. The same is true for companies with revenues greater than a billion dollars.
