국문 초록

  본 연구는 FIE 프로그램이 일반아동과 고지능 아동의 지능 향상에 긍정적이라는 두 연구(서금택, 박숙희, 2006: 서금택, 박진희, 2006)의 실험참여자들을 추적 조사하여 FIE 프로그램을 적용하고 그 1년 후의 효과를 측정함으로써 FIE 프로그램의 유지효과 및 확산효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 두 연구에 참여한 56명의 아동 중 추적 가능한 48명의 실험집단(24명)과 통제집단(24명)에게 추수검사로 K-Raven(SPM I)지능검사를 실시하였다.
  그 결과 첫째, 전체 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 유지효과에서 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 고지능 실험집단과 통제집단 간에도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 전체 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 확산효과에서 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 고지능 실험집단과 통제집단 간에는 유의한 차이가 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is to show the effectiveness of FIE program in terms of maintenance effect and divergence effect by investigate experimented participants from the studies about FIE program is positive toward the intelligence improvement among average children and highly intelligent children. There was K-Raven(SPMI) intelligence testing done as a post examination to 48 children, experimental group(24 children) and control group(24 children), who were available for this study among total 56 children from past studies. As a result, first, after a year of FIE program there was a significant difference between total experimental group and control group in their intelligence maintenance effect. Also, there was a significant difference between highly intelligent experimental group and control group. Second, after a year of FIE program there was no significant difference between total experimental group and control group in their divergence effect of intelligence. But, there was a significant difference between highly intelligent experimental group and control group which proved that there was divergence effect among highly intelligent children. Therefore, the study shows that the effectiveness of FIE program which works in short-term also works in long-term. And it showed that there was divergence effect among highly intelligent group.
