유아미술교육 운영 실태 - 경기도 공ㆍ사립유치원, 보육시설, 사설미술학원을 중심으로

국문 초록

  본 연구는 경기도 공ㆍ사립유치원 및 보육시설, 미술학원에서의 유아미술교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는가에 대해 알아보았다. 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 유치원 20곳 62명의 교사, 그리고 보육시설 35곳 75명의 교사, 사설미술학원 30곳 교사 54명, 총 유아교육기관 85곳 교사 191명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 유아교육기관에서 유아미술을 담당하고 있는 교사는 미술전공자 59.7%, 유아교사 31.4% 외부강사 8.4%순으로 나타났으며, 미술활동 실시 횟수로는 주2회 33.0%, 주3회 25.1%, 매일실시 18.3%로 조사되었다. 미술활동 지도 시 교사의 역할에 대한 태도로는 격려자로서의 역할을 중요하게 생각하고 있으며, 유아들이 선호하는 활동으로는 색종이 접기, 조형 활동 순으로 타나났다. 그러나 교실외 별도의 미술실 마련 정도는 매우 낮은 수준이었으며, 유아미술교육에서 해결해야 할 과제로는 유아의 수가 많아 활동의 어려움과 교사의 전문적인 미술지도 방법 미숙으로 나타났다. 유아미술교육은 인간 감정의 아름다운 면을 깊이 느끼게 하고 그것을 효과적으로 표현하도록 가르치는 교육이다. 따라서 유아미술교육에 대한 다양한 활동이 이루어 질 수 있도록 담당교사의 전문성과 지속적인 재교육이 이뤄질 수 있도록 하고, 유아교육기관에서 유아미술활동의 어려움이 없도록 지속적인 환경구성 및 개선에 대해 올바른 인식이 선행되어야할 것이다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how child art education is administrated in the public/private kindergarten of Kyoungki-do, day-care facility, and the private art academy.
  I analyzed and used 191 returned papers by making teachers in several institution answer to the question. Who participate this investigation, 62 teachers of 20 kindergarten, 75 teachers of 35 day-care facility, 54 teachers from 30 private art academy. As the result, the child art teachers who engaged in early childhood education, the bachelor"s degree of art college is 59.7%, early childhood teacher is 31.4%, and the 8.4% is exterior teachers. The number of art education, twice an week 33%, third times per week 25.1%, and daily 18.3%. On that art education, the art teacher is important to do an encourager in art class. Early childhood prefer to do the folder paper color, and art activity. But, there"s no art education room except the class room, very lower rate prepared the special art education room. Most important to be advanced one in that early art education is that art class and education be limited for a lots of childhood in a class, and not expert art training instruction of teachers.
  The early childhood art educations is after deeply filling the beautiful emotion inside of human and effectively express it. So that, the early art childhood teachers be trained as the professionally and continuously for various activity in the early art education. Also the early art childhood institute notify to do escalate the environment constitution and eliminate the difficult of early art activity.
