교정복지에 있어서 청소년쉼터 사회복지사의 가출청소년정서문제 개입 현황 및 필요성 조사연구

국문 초록

  오늘날 전자통신망의 확대와 함께 개방적인 정보가 넘쳐나는 정보산업사회에서 자아정체감의 형성과정에 있는 우리의 청소년은 바람직한 정서형성을 자극하고 방해하는 향락적이며 퇴폐적인 유해 환경에 쉽게 노출되고 있다. 청소년가출은 대표적인 청소년문제로서 단순한 일탈행동을 넘어 비행과 범죄로 연결되고 학교생활부적응, 사회부적응, 발달의 지체, 바람직한 정서발달의 저해와 같은 문제를 발생시키는 원인이 되고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 이들의 정서문제가 어느 정도인지, 정서문제개입을 통해 이들의 정서문제를 어떻게 그리고 얼마나 도울 수 있는가에 대한 연구는 거의 찾아볼 수 없다. 따라서 가출청소년의 정서문제 관련현황을 정확히 분석하고, 이에 대한 대책마련이 중요하다고 보고, 기출청소년의 정서문제 개입을 위한 기초연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저, 가출청소년의 정서인지(情緖認知)를 일반청소년들과 비교하고 이를 토대로 하여, 청소년쉼터에 종사하고 있는 사회복지사의 가출청소년의 정서문제에 대한 인지현황을 규명하고, 정서문제개입 현황과 사회복지사의 개입필요성을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 주요 결과를 요약하여 제시하면, 먼저 가출청소년은 일반청소년에 비해 자기정서인식, 타인정서인식, 자기동기화, 자기조절, 대인관계가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 청소년쉼터에서 종사하고 있는 사회복지사들이 인식하고 있는 가출청소년에게 보이는 가장 큰 문제점은 정서문제가 50%로 가장 많았고, 가출청소년의 정서적인 특성은 주로 부정적 정서, 대인관계문제, 타인을 이해하지 못하는 것의 순으로 문제를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 사회복지사들은 가출청소년에게 가장 중요한 것은 정서관련개입이며, 이에 관련된 프로그램이 절실히 필요하다고 응답하였다. 그러나 기출청소년의 정서문제에 관련하여 조금 개입되고 있으며, 정서문제 개입에 어려움을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  Today in the information industry society with overflowing open information according to enlargement of electronic communication network, Korean juveniles are easily exposed to a pleasure-seeking and decadent harmful environment stimulating and obstructingtheir desirable formation of emotion. Their runaway is connected with a delinquencyand a crime exceeding a simple deviation as a representative problem of juveniles and causes maladjustment in their school lives, maladjustment in society, developmental disability and an obstruction to a desirable emotional development. However, Korea almost never has researches on what status of their emotional problems is and how and how much we can help them through intervention in their emotional problems. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to analyze status of their emotional problems accurately and to perform a basic research for intervention intheir emotional problems by considering that it was important to make its measure. To achieve the purpose, the study compared runaway juveniles"emotional recognition with normal juveniles first of all and made a close inquiry to status of recognition of social workers in juvenile shelters about runaway juveniles" emotional problems on the basis of the inquiry. Also, the study investigated status of intervention in their emotional problems and the necessity of social workers"intervention.
  Summarizing the main results of the study, they were as follows. Above all, runaway juveniles had lower self-recognition of emotion, recognition of others"emotion, self-motivation, self-control and personal relations than normal juveniles. Social workers in juvenile shelters recognized that the most serious problem of runaway juveniles was emotional problem (50%). Also, runaway juveniles" emotional characteristics appeared in order of negative emotion, personal relations and not understanding others. Social workers answered that currently it was intervention in runaway juveniles" emotion to be the most important to runaway juveniles and the problem related programs were urgently required. However, it showed that they intervened a little in their emotional problems and had difficulties in intervention in their emotional problems.
