고학력 경력단절여성의 경력개발계획과 재취업교육 요구분석 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 고학력 기혼여성의 재취업을 지원하기 위해 경력단절을 경험한 고학력 여성들을 면접하여 경력개발계획 및 의식과 재취업교육 요구를 조사하였다. 조사 결과 고학력 여성들은 가정적인 배경을 고려하면서 직업 경력을 갖겠다는 경력 의식을 갖고 있었다. 경력단절기간이 짧은 여성들은 본인의 지속적인 경력개발을 위해 안정적인 자격을 갖추고자 하였고, 경력단절기간이 긴 경우에는 직업 전환이나 창업을 희망하는 것으로 나타났다.
  경력개발계획 및 의식 부분은 1) 좋은 직장에서 좋은 직업을 갖겠다는 의식의 전환이 이루어지고 있고, 2) 경력계획과 관리는 전공, 특기, 취미, 좋아하는 분야의 교차지점에서 이루어지고 있으며, 3) 소득보다는 자아성취와 자기 개발이 되는 경력을 희망하고, 4) 전문가 또는 전문 프리랜서라는 일관된 경력의 목표를 추구하는 것으로 나타났다.
  이에 따른 재취업교육 부분은 1) 쓰임새나 목적성이 뚜렷한 맞춤형과정, 2) 능력 검증과 장기적인 경력개발이 가능한 ‘전문 자격증 과정’이나 ‘시험 준비 과정’, 3) 최신직업정보를 고려한 공신력 있는 전문교육, 4) 기혼여성의 여건을 고려한 인터넷 전문창업교육과 계속교육, 5) 교육적 접근의 용이성 등을 요구하는 것으로 나타났다.
  본 연구는 고학력 경력단절여성의 직업과 경력에 대한 의식을 도출하여 이에 따른 재취업교육 요구를 분석하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

  This study investigates the career building plans, attitude and reemployment needs of highly educated women whose careers have been interrupted by childbirth, childcare, housework, etc. The method of research employed was an interview of the subjects, and the aim of the study was to aid the reemployment of such highly educated, career-interrupted women. Results of the investigation showed that highly educated women have progressive career attitudes, concerned both with their families and personal career building. Women with short career interruption terms were found to acquire stable qualifications for continuous personal career development, and those with longer career interruptions were found to favor career change or personal enterprise.
  Regarding career building plans and attitude, study results showed that: 1) Women"s career attitudes are shifting. Instead of getting jobs in good companies, they tend to be specialized in particular fields and work as freelancers or start up new jobs. 2) Joint priorities of career planning and management are college major, area of specialization, hobbies, and areas of interest, 3) Careers allowing for self-attainment and development are preferred over high-income careers, and 4)Most subjects interviewed want consistent careers as professionals or professional freelancers.
  It was determined that reemployment education must accordingly satisfy the following conditions: 1) Tailored education with clear objectives and purpose, 2) "Professional qualification courses" and "Test preparation courses" allowing for certification of competency and long-term career development, 3) Reliable specialized education based on the most recent job information 4) Continued education and on-line professional entrepreneurship education tailored to the needs of married women, and 5) easy educational accessibility.
  This research is significance in analyzing reemployment education need from highly educated career interrupted woman"s employment and career attitude.
