영재교육에서 내러티브 사고양식의 가치 탐색

국문 초록

  인간의 가장 중요한 행동 특성 중 하나는 ‘인간이 무엇을 어떠한 방식으로 생각하느냐’ 하는 것이다. 지금까지의 영재교육이 패러다임적 사고양식에 치중하면서, 그 결과 많은 문제들이 노출되고 있다. 다양한 학문적 논의에 따르면 인간의 사고양식은 다양하다. 사고력 개발과 영재교육의 필수조건 중 하나가 바로 인간사고 본질과 사고 양식의 다양성을 이해하는 것이다. 영재교육은 사고의 본질과 사고양식의 다양성에 기초해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 영재교육에서 사고교육의 경향과 문제점을 살펴보고, 기존 문제점을 개선할 수 있는 효과적인 대안으로 거론되고 있는 내러티브 사고의 특성과 의의를 논의해본다. 그리고 영재교육에서 내러티브 사고의 가치를 탐색하고 있다. 본 연구에서 논의된 내러티브 사고의 가치는 장차 영재교육현장에서 적용되고 실천되어야 하며, 그 구체적인 방안 마련이 요청된다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is to search the value on narrative mode of thought in the gifted education. As the gifted education attachs importance to paradigmatic mode of thought, there has been many problems. According to the result of various disciplinary discourse, modes of thinking are multiple ones. One of the prerequisites in developing the ability to think in the gifted education is understanding nature of thinking and variety of mode of thinking. The gifted education is based on nature of thinking and variety of mode of thinking. Complementary presented to paradigmatic mode of thought, narrative mode of thought is mode of thinking to grasp meaning of human"s life and structure of knowledge. If thought is social process that is distributed at social network, we shall consider importance on social thought of the gifted education. In context of construing narrative curriculum on the gifted education, we will have many suggestions. In this paper, what we argue is constructed on the basis of narrative mode of thought, personal-practical knowledge, narrative heuristics, folk pedagogy, culturalism in the gifted education. We will look forward to seeing new picture of the gifted education centered in narrative mode of thought.
