지리산 아고산대 수목의 생육감퇴와 입지인자와 관련성

국문 초록

  지리산 아고산대에 분포하는 고산수종의 생육감퇴 현상의 원인을 구명하고자, 지리산 아고산대에 분포하는 구상나무, 잣나무, 주목, 가문비나무의 생육현황과 입지인자를 조사하고 생육감퇴 현상과 입지인자의 관련성을 분석하였다. 고산수종의 직경급별 개체수 분포는 흉고직경 20~25 ㎝ 범위가 가장 많은 20.8%를 보였고 5 ㎝ 미만의 치수는 0.8%로 나타나 치수발생이 타 수종들에 비하여 매우 적었다. 생육현황표에 의한 득점평균은 가문비나무가 13.50으로 가장 높았고, 잣나무가 8.83으로 가장 낮았다. 지리산 아고산지대에 생육하는 고산수종들 중에서는 상대적으로 가문비나무의 생육상태가 가장 불량하며, 그 다음이 주목인 것으로 나타났다. 생육현황표에 의한 점수와 토심과 부의 상관이 인정되었다. 고사목의 개체수와는 해발고와 수관울폐도는 정의 상관이, 경사도와는 부의 상관이 인정되었다. 치수의 수는 해발고와 부의 상관을 보였다.

영문 초록

  To search the cause of tree growth decline on the subalpine tree species, the relationships between site factors and growth decline of subalpine tree species -Abies koreana, Pinus koraiensis, Pieca jezoensis and Taxus cuspidata-, growth decline related characteristics of four subalpine tree species and site factors were invetigated, and analyzed at the subalpine zone in Chirisan. Four subalpine tree species ranged 20~25 ㎝ DBH class is most frequently 20.8%, and those less than 5 ㎝ DBH class is merely 0.8%. Seedling number of four subalpine tree species is severely rare compared with other species. Score on the checklist of Pieca jezoensis is the highest 13.50, and that of Pinus koraiensis is the lowest 8.83. Growth decline phenomenon is most severely for Pieca jezoensis among four subalpine tree species. Negative correlation between score on the checklist and soil depth was proved. Dead tree number was positively correlated with altitude and crown coverage, and negatively correlated with slope degree. Seedling number was negatively correlated with altitude.
