The life in Buddhism is regarded as the concept of covering all world and being. But 'life' in Buddhism is next to the concept of meaning the whole life in the human world where man is born out of the presence of warm-heartedness rather than meaning equal life in Hwawom including all warm-heartedness and hardness. In this regard, the establishment of life stands for the commencement of life conceived by the harmony between a certain connection and condition. The establishment itself of life by conception is a painful connection to have to cut out in Buddhism, but it also is an opportunity of deliverance from worldy anguish given to man. Whether man continues the cycle of anguish through life or reaches the deliverance from worldly anguish depends on the free will of the individual. The principle by which life is established can be arranged as the concept of Buddhism on the principal of the cycles of life and of the former existence. That has been changed in the order of "vijnana" "gandharva" "antara-bhava" "vijnana"(transfer vijnana sutras) alayavijnana ranging from the early Buddhism Sutras to the Mahayanist Buddhism Sutras. The early concept of knowledge of the early Sutras intending to clarify the cycles of life and the former existence by being presented as a means of clarifying the cycles of life with self-effacement developed into the theory of "antara-bhava" defined as a principle of life in the age of the Bupa buddhism, and further developed into the theory of alayavijnana the principle of the former existence of the Mahayanist Buddhism. The condition under which life is established is clarified as "three matter harmony" theory, and is expressed in much the same form ranging from the early Buddhism Sutras to the Mahayanist Buddhism Sutras. First of all the body condition of mother, the oneness of the parents and the resulting existence of lifeblood, biological ingredients, are grasped. And next, the existence of antara-bhava, ultra-biological ingredient showing the characteristic of Buddhism, is grasped. It is thought that these ingredients are harmonized almost at the same time on the establishment of life. This viewpoint in the Buddhism Sutras lays a foundation for justifying Fertilization Theory in the life-ethical light on the recent "Commencement of Life" Theory. And this principle enhances the dignity of life by putting the commencement of life in the fertilization. After all the understanding of the establishment of life on Buddhism calls for the correct awareness of the phenomena of life, and make us feel that the stick to life and the desire of love are the causes of anguish. Also Buddhism shows that it is a religion stressing the discipline through the observation of mind by giving importance to the psychological factor on the establishment of life.
