국문 초록

선형화된 준이상수요체계 (LA/AIDS) 모델로 총소비지출액 변화 및 소비지출 비목별 불가변화가 자체비목의 지출비율 변화 및 타 비목의 지출비율의 변화에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지를 연구하였다 분석 자료는 도시가계연보의 근로자가계의 소비지출자료와 불가연보의 기본소비자물가지수의 23년 (1980-2002) 간의 시계열자료이고 표면상무관회귀방법 (SUR) 으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다 첫째, 소비지출 비목 중에서 주거광열비 물가상승이 자체 비목의 지출비율을 가장 많이 상승시키고 있었다. 둘째, 소비지출 비목의 물가변화가 타 비목의 지출비율의 변화에 미치는 영향을 보면, 교통통신비 물가변화는 다섯 비목의 지출비율의 변화에 유의한 영향을 미지고 있었다. 주거광열비물가, 피복비불가, 교육비물가는 네 비목의 지출비율의 변화에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 특히 교통통신비불가의 상승은 대표적인 필수재인 외식제외식료품 지출비율을 감소시키는 것으로 나타난다. 따라서 주거광열물가, 피복비불가, 교육비물가, 교통통신불가의 변화는 소비지출의 상충작용에 많은 영향을 미침으로 정부의 물가정책 입안시 고려해야 비목으로 보인다.

영문 초록

This research was conducted to find out Interaction between price changes and changes in budget shares of expenditure categories using linear approximations of the Almost Ideal Demand System. Family Income and Expenditure Survey annual series data, and Consumer Price Index in Korea National Statistical Office from 1980 to 2003 were used for analysis. Seemingly unrelated regression was undertaken Findings are as follows: First. it is Fuels. light and water expenditure category which had Increased own budget share the most with the price change. Second, price changes in some expenditure categories were related with budget shares of some other expenditure categories Price change in transportation and commumcation expenditure categories had shown significant budget share changes in five other expenditure categories Price changes in each Housing, Fuel. light and water, Clothing and footwear, and Education expenditure categories had shown significant budget share changes in four other expenditure categories. Specially, price change in Transportation and communication expenditure category had shown decrease in budget share of Food excluding food away from home which is typical necessary goods. Government should consider those interaction when pricing policy is Implemented. specially to price changes in Housing. Fuel. light and water, Transportation and communication. Clothing and footwear. and Education since they were strongly related to interaction of budget share of expenditure categories.
